Quality Foundation Repair

I wasn't going to give a review but was sent a link by text (to review on google but now I'm on a roll) requesting one in exchange for a $10 Starbucks gift card. I like Starbucks so here goes. They did a job in my basement. The job was probably done very well and worth the amount quoted BUT my problem was misdiagnosed. The work they did did not fix the problem I told the owner we had. The owner and I went back and forth by text. He also came in person with his wife. The owner refused to say that he misdiagnosed the problem and eventually charged me for the job WITH INTEREST instead of fixing the problem or giving me a discount. Am I happy? No.

Quality Foundation Repair did a great job for my step mom in Omaha on her cracked walls in her basement. His quote was very fair and and I'd recommend him if and when you're looking!

We hired Quality Foundation Repair to install a basement water drain system and straighten a bowed wall. The work they did was fine. Our issue is the work that did not get done. As they started the basement work it was determined that the newer portion of our basement (about 1/4 of the space) had a monolithic wall system which needs a baseboard system rather than the more traditional one being used in the rest of our basement. This system has lower cost materials and less labor. At first we were told that they do not install the baseboard drainage system that would be needed. Then Steve said he could order the materials and for an additional cost they would install it. We have learned that other basement repair companies would install the needed system at no additional cost over the original bid. To us, this feels like a job only partially complete, and we elected NOT to pay Quality the extra dollars.

Steve came out and wasn't even out for no more than 10 minutes. Did not even do a full inspection on the foundation to advise accurately. I had to get another foundation company to come out and advise on foundation repairs.

Steve was so nice and you can tell this is a great business because they aren't going to try to sell you on fixes you don't need. I was worried about some wall bowing in my basement but there were no issues and I wasn't convinced into repairs I don't actually need. Will definitely use them in the future and recommend to others!!!
