Great tacos (carne asada and carnitas), good salsa, chips and guacamole. Called ahead and food was ready to go. Friendly staff and cute decor.

The service is impeccable! Friendly attentive servers. We order the combo dip for app. Delish! The chips are fresh and complemented nicely. For plates we ordered the mini chimichangas and the Guadalajara nachos. Coming into a Mexican restaurant in the middle of Nebraska our expectations were not very high but this place really exceeded our expectations. The vibe was poppin on a Friday night! Music filled the air, the decor was great, and the food was authentic and filling!

After living in Arizona for 30 years we are pretty familiar with Mexican food and we were not ready for the deliciousness this place offered. Authentic food with a wonderful young server, Jose, who was very attentive and a lot of fun. I doubt we'll ever be in Nebraska again but if we did, we'd be returning to this place a lot.

I lived for 30 years in southern CA, so I can be a bit fussy when it comes to Mexican food. Needless to say, my expectations were low when I went to Pueblo Viejo in Aurora, NE with a couple of friends. I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least. I split a very ample fajitas plate with shrimp, chicken, and beef with one of my friends, and the other had the red enchilada plate. Both were outstanding. The kitchen is real deal and the food is authentically Mexican. The house salsa is great. The red sauce on the enchiladas reminded me of the Sonoran style red sauce, which is beef based. I don't know if that was the case here, but it was a very rich, chile forward sauce that came very close to my favorite style of red chile sauce. The beans and rice were excellent, and not overly cheesed (a fault of many Mexican style restaurants). Service was very friendly and the atmosphere colorful with brightly painted booths. This is a genuine sleeper of a restaurant welll worth visiting.
