Postscript

This cute Little spot was so darling- had everything that I was looking for in a little shop -pens, paper, clips and little bits Oh my and even recommendations on books to read. Just sweet

Melodee and I made a point of walking delightful Silver Street in Ashland a couple of weeks ago. We left this colorful, inviting shop with gifts for friends and each other and beaming at our good fortune. When I got home, I took out some of my new wares and wrote three overdue letters to distant friends. And in the intervening time I have received letters in return. So my closing postscript is that this is a shop replete with many reminders of what matters a great deal in our chaotic, digital lives.

I ventured into this store on my way out of Salt Creek Merchantile just to check it out. Inside, you will find a little coffee counter, books, and writing utensil. This store has everything you need to do calligraphy, writing letters, and books to read. They probably have the best selection of pens and erasers you can find, probably in the whole state! The owners dad was working at the time and he was so friendly and helpful! Postscript is definitely a drive from the Omaha area, but you must visit this little store at some point in your life!

The atmosphere when you want in is so inviting. I love the intentionality behind their products and how kind their staff is. Plus the coffee is delicious. Loved the experience.
