Porter's is located in Arbor Day Farm. The bbq is made on site. I ordered the brisket sandwich and potato salad. Overall, it was okay. The brisket was smoked well and started out good first couple bites. Then I eventually got to a lot of fatty pieces and it was evident the brisket is not trimmed. That was a bit disappointing. The potato salad was not my favorite either. The service was good. The lady at the register was open and honest. She let us know the pies are frozen and not made fresh in house. She gave a sample of the apple cider slushy. That was really good and made onsite with the apples from the orchard.

Meh. Its a gift shop/ cafe. Mostly bland. They have tap beer but it all boutique, like 1 cider, 1 lemonade beer and 1 grapefruit IPA but it was pretty gud. You can get the pulled pork w/o sauce and the portions were generous (pulled pork/mac n cheese) so its convenient if you're already here but don't go put off your way thinking it's actually a bbq restaurant

Pulled pork & Mac Cheese; got it separate due to sons request. Mac had cheese color no taste. He didn't like the pork because it had sauce on it. Nachos; topping on the side & meat cheese on chips. Pulled pork sandwich and chips. Nothing that'll blow you away. Nice remodel and lots of seating. Kind staff.

I made a mistake. I had The Pitt. It's burnt ends with coleslaw; something I usually like. This one might have been good but it was room temperature. The baked beans were ok but not quite the flavor I like. I should have gone to Little Ted's, 2 miles down the road. I didn't eat there, but EVERYONE else was. Much larger menu also. I'm coming back to try it.

Great bbq place in Nebraska. Extremely unique for Nebraska. Staff are extremely friendly and the ambiance is great for a bbq joint! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We came to Porter's after touring Arbor Lodge and the farm/treehouse next door. Before we even walked in the door, we could smell the bbq. We ordered at the counter and they called out when our food was ready. My friend had the pulled pork and Mac n cheese. I had the special which was a large brisket sandwich topped with coke slaw and Mac n cheese. Both the special and the pulled pork were delicious! The Mac n cheese was just Ok and just bland compared to the other flavors and their bbq sauce. I'd definitely come back for lunch! Fair priced, new facility, well-kept.

Food was excellent!! We ordered specials and they accommodated requests. The enviroment was clean, well organized, and accommodating to our group. Recommends: burnt ends on a baked potato. Frozen drinks. Average meal $10-15 large portions#whole30

Food is delicious... got the brisket sandwich 10 out of 10... the cornbread is good, but add the honey butter and spicy BBQ jam, and it's unbelievable. It's next to a cute gift shop where you can get beer, cider, or try a wine flight. Service is friendly. Definitely recommend.

Nice upgrade from the Old Pie Garden at Arbor Day Farms. The Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese was decent and several in our party enjoyed that with a healthy portion to share. Pulled Pork was tasty but the Mac N Cheese was bland and very forgettable.Unfortunately, I was intrigued by the Beef Brisket Chili Bowl and drawn in by the thought of some good portion of Brisket mixed with some good downhome Chili. That's when the dream ended...I could not find a Single Sliver of Brisket in the Chili ANYWHERE!The Chili, while having a little bit of spice had way too many Beans (and NO BRISKET) and to my HORROR, it had CARROTS in it? (banned in TX)And the Cinnamon Roll that came with it, would have made the Pillsbury Dough Boy CRINGE... Just AWFUL.I should have taken it back and requested something else suitable, because this was NOT IT. My BAD CHOICE in choosing THE CHEF FAIL of the DAY (;-(
