Maybe it's that I'm sentimental, but love this place and that nothing has changed in 50 years! My mom and her husband danced here every Wednesday for as long as I can remember, getting all dressed up!Most recently, we went to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Wow! So good. And seeing both old and young on the dance floor, doing it right, was heartwarming. The drinks are cheap and good. Can't speak for the burgers. Know it's old school here; but there's a whole lot to live about that. Especially those working who treat you like royalty.

This is a unique place. Built in 1929 you can only imagine what those walls have seen. We saw the band "Wheezetones" there last Saturday night. I was very impressed by the music and the crowd but most of all by the venue. The Pla Mor has good acoustics, plenty of room to dance, the service was excellent and drink prices are reasonable.I hope to get out there more often.

I hope it goes viral that you shamed a breast feeding mother. If it had been my g/f or wife we would have some serious issues and I'd be talking to the owner and castigating you on every outlet I had access to. Lincoln statute law LB-197. "Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a mother may breast-feed her child in any public or private location where the mother is otherwise authorized to be."

On Sunday night there is Country dancing at Pla Mor. For $5 charge you can get dancing lessons (2 dances) if you go at 7:30PM, otherwise the dance starts at 8:30PM. I went there twice in the past two months with my college friends and had alot of fun! Two live bands play each Sunday night. I enjoy dancing alot so my friends and I stayed till about 10:00PM each night. To those who haven't gone before I would recommend the lessons. They are taught by some older folks who know what they're doing. I recommend this especially since once the dance starts it gets full really quick! Hard to believe such a large dance floor gets full so fast, but it is a great time. The majority of the night the younger crowd mostly do line dances while you can see some doing swing and 2 step dances on the outskirts. The older folk have their own section coned off to do a little more expert line dances. Overall it is a great time and worth the $5. The only two problems with it that I have are that they charge $1.50 for a pitcher of water and that the dance floor gets pretty packed, but these are minor. Highly recommend going on Sunday nights. The rest of the week I am unsure of what goes on. Sorry!

Ive been going here gor years and last sunday will be my last. I had a very rude bartender throw a damp bar towel over myself and my child while breastfeeding. She didnt have any warning and only said that customers had complained. When I told her they could look the other way she went to the owner who then came over and told us we had to leave as it was disrespectful for me to be breastfeeding in his public place. And as we were leaving we were told that we were not welcome back.....

Excellent dance floor that you just don't see any more and staff is beyond accommodating. My wedding party was there a long time ago and I bet it is still great for that now!!

I love the country nights on Sundays. Great energy, cheap drinks and bar food, and good music. If you visit Lincoln, make sure you visit Pla Mor!

Really great bands and they switch so there is never a long stop to the music. Cheap, beer and food. The dance floor is always full. Free dance lessons at 7pm every Sunday. Family atmosphere. Great Fun.

On a Sunday evening for the weekly country dance the staff folks here were welcoming and friendly, but the dancing itself was a huge disappointment. If you don't line dance, don't waste your time. Within half an hour of the dance starting, there was no room on the dance floor for couples dancing. Line dancers rule, and you better stay out of their way, as some can get pretty rude if you move into their space. We won't be back.

Used to enjoy the place but they offer nothing when it comes to craft beer. They also charge for water which is too bad as that causes more people to leave with more alcohol in their system.
