Pioneers Golf Course

One of Lincoln's oldest and best courses. If you don't believe me come see four yourself.

Poor course management, went out of their way to make issues that didn't exist. Accused our group of holding up the course; however, we were actually waiting on a group in front of ours. The manager was a bit of prick, but was just "doing his job". Also poor cuts on the green.

I've played this course a bunch over the last few years and consider it the absolute best public course in Nebraska. The staff from the top to the bottom are fantastic! Always friendly and professional. Pioneers golf course is my first choice every time I toss the clubs in the truck of my car.

I just left this golf course after being accused of hitting a woman's car in the parking lot and without any class at all the manager of the course demanded my information although his only evidence against me was hear say. The manager never even attempted to peacefully work things out, instead he threatened calling the cops and claimed I almost killed the woman who's car I supposedly hit. Maybe instead of pointing fingers at random people on the driving range and calling them low life's he should focus his attention on managing the golf course, just for example maybe start out by not putting a driving range right next to a parking lot. At the conclusion of this ass hat's speech he made sure to tell our whole group to never come back. So if you're considering coming here maybe try another course where if a situation arises it will be handled like adults handle things.

Course was in great shape today (4/2/21). Impressed is an understatement, considering there was snow on the ground a couple weeks ago.

What a beautiful course. Lots of trees of various genus and species. Well maintained. Very friendly staff. Though their are no sand traps, the course can be quite challenging.
