This is a delivery review so I can't say anything about the physical building. The empress chicken was actually really flavorful and the chicken was breaded nicely, not too much and the sauce wasn't overly sweet. The pad tai on the other hand was subpar for us, the noodles were gummy, there was very little chicken and it didn't have any real sauce to it. I did try the sesame balls for the first time and they were fire. Definitely an add on for next time.

I keep ordering from here as they are an available option on Foodsby. We seem to have a love hate relationship. LolThe Yu Hsiang beef I received today was really good but I've certainly had some ups and downs with PA...Going to leave it at three stars for being solid my last two orders. If they ever get consistent it might move up to a four.

The food was OK, it just seems like their set up would be better as carry out, so I will leave this on my carry out options for the future. Nothing wrong with the service, just an observation.Szechuan green beans - a little sweet for my taste but I do like the pickled vegetable slices mixed in. Adds a salty flavor as well. We seem to be obsessed with trying green beans at every Chinese restaurant we dine at. Each one is slightly, or very, different! We're used to Mandarin Grill's but it's fun to try these at every place we go. Shrimp snow peas - I'm a sucker for snow peas and this dish had great flavor, plenty of shrimp, good sauce. Wings - meh. Nothing to write home about, would've been better with a sauce of some sort. Potstickers - good sauce, thick skin (some people like thin potsticker skins). I like both and these were just fine, not killer and not bad. Hot sauce is not spicy at all, bummer. Hot & Sour soup - better than some places. A good place for carry out in the Clive/Waukee area!

We have ordered from here in the past and it was always pretty good. But tonight we had a different experience. We ordered Beef with mushrooms and General chicken and both with fried rice. The rice was wet and mushy and had a very bad taste. My chicken was overcooked and crunchy and had a weird taste. The beef was also overcooked and had a bad taste also. The soup and crab ragoons were fine.

Ordered takeout tonight. Got the beef chow main, sesame shrimp, plain Lo mien and sugar balls. When it was delivered and opened I noticed the the chow mien had no noodles. It was all sauce and mixed veg with about 8 pieces of beef. Called the restaurant to let them know what happened and proceeded to get told that chow mien doesn't have noodles and it's all vegetables. And that the small bag of fried wontons (usually for soup) were crispy fried noodles. Maybe I'm wrong but every time I google chow mien it has noodles. Egg rolls were gross, didn't like getting lied to over the phone and sugar balls were good. Definitely won't eat here again
