Penn Station

I had never been here honestly because I thought it was a gas station from the name alone. I decided to check out the reviews and they were raving about how good of a cheesesteak they have and I love cheesesteak so I decided to give it a try. It's... okay. It wasn't terrible but it was nothing I would consider fantastic as others are saying and the best I ever had. I probably would not come back here. It was mediocre food. A jersey mikes cheesesteak is 100x better tasting to me than this. Disappointed on the reviewers on this recommendation. Way over hyped for what it is.

The bread on their sandwiches are so soft and delicious! I like it better than Jimmy John's bread. Sometimes they skimp on the toppings, and other times they put a fair amount on. It usually takes them a few minutes to finish my order since they make the fries fresh in front of you. If it's during prime lunch hour, the wait is usually 15 minutes. Their online ordering sometimes isn't ready by the pickup time I've noticed. Overall, their service can be a bit slower than other fast food restaurants, but the quality is better.

Great fast, fresh food served by friendly people. Their rolls are the best. They have some unique vegetables for their sandwiches, inculuding artichoke hearts and fresh mushrooms. You don't want to miss their fresh cut fries or fresh squeezed lemonade.

I mean, where do I start, Penn station for one is one of my favorite places to grab a Philly cheesesteak, that's obviously outside of the OG Philly. Every time I go here, everyone is extremely helpful, and pleasant. They run a clean establishment, and the food is very tasty. My recommendation is to go for a Philly cheesesteak with mayo, onions, mushrooms, and mayo. Also, don't forget the fries with a bit of vinegar.

I usually go to the Penn Station at 78th & Dodge, but today I was in the Legacy area when I saw the shop nearby and decided to go there for lunch. I had my usual small BLT on multigrain bread with fries and a chocolate chunk cookie. All of it was great, as usual. What made the dining experience stand out was the smiling, friendly attitude of the people working there. I know I don't smile much which makes me appear to be grumpy and mad even when I'm not. That's why I notice people who smile. The guy who brought my sandwich had a big smile on his face like he was really happy to be there. He was also like that when taking customer orders and working behind the counter. Maybe he was the owner, I don't know, but his smile set me up with a good mood for the afternoon.

Great service. Food is always fresh and facility is clean. Fresh squeezed lemonade and hand cut fries.

Personally I wasn't a fan of the Reuben being on the bun they used. Reuben's really belong on rye. But I love Reuben's so I thought I'd give it a try. A bit pricey for me but that's just me.

Let me tell you how the loud the music was. A guy parked in the designated spot right in front of the door. He was standing ten feet away and he didn't hear his own car alarm going off.Intolerable.

Really delicious, haven't been to one in years and it was kinda dead. Good food, clean restaurant, friendly staff.

If you want enough meat on your cheese steak you have to order extra. They charge $2 per ounce. Otherwise your cheese steak will taste like a grilled cheese. The cookies and the lemonade are superb.
