Paul's Cigar Lounge

Have been wanting to visit Paul's for some time now. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Paul was even there and welcomed us with a very warm hello. Wonderful selection of cigars and spirits. Highly recommend this business.

There are times when I just to kick back and relax with a cigar paiered with my favorite scotch or cognac or red wine and meditate to the smooth jazz music.

Had a wonderful time visiting this cigar lounge. Everyone was very friendly and Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable about the cigars he had in the humidor. I would recommend this place to anyone who lives cigars and is visiting Hastings, NE.

Fantastic cigar bar. Cool building, great setup, fantastic drinks. Only thing that could be improved is a greater selection of cigars. Don't hold that against them, they are brand new. What they do have is perfectly humidified and at a fair price. I don't know if I'll ever be back in Hastings,NE but if I do, I will 100% be back.

Great atmosphere including drinks and of course cigars. Paul and Sandy do a great job in serving their customers, too.

Rude owner. Maybe a harsh comment, but we did not have a good experience. I love a good cigar experience and the vibe seemed good walking in. I work for an international company--headquartered here in Nebraska. We hire top talent from all over the world. I brought one of our new employees in (from Germany) who has a US work authorization card and is 29 years old... very clearly... a photo ID with DOB on it, which is more profound than a foreign passport, and we were rudely refused service. Even after trying to educate the owner on the law, and the fact that it is a government issued ID with more clout than a passport, we were rudely told we could (sarcastically) take something to go. As an elected official myself (county commissioner) who works with and makes special designated liquor license recommendations and approval recommendations for actual liquor license approvals to the NE liquor commission, I was dumbfounded at the lack of common sense and knowledge a business owner in this industry should have. Unfortunate as I always make high recommendations and always spend considerable money on good establishments that provide quality service. Very disappointing. Ended up at a great, higher-end establishment just down the road where I could get a fantastic cocktail and smoke my own cigar while entertaining business partners and employees from around the world on Nebraska culture and friendliness in a more relaxed atmosphere. Most will likely have a decent experience, if you have a NE driver's license and aren't with someone from abroad.

I'm from Seattle and was visiting family in the area and found this place on a Google search. Cigar lounges are hard to find these days. Was suitably impressed. I would have liked to see a little more selection in their humidor but found a nice My Father cigar that was is perfect condition. (Don José Pepín Garcia rules!). The place was fairly quiet for a Saturday night I thought, but the chairs were comfortable and the ambiance fantastic. The lady working the bar was very nice and helpful. The old fashioned that I had was acceptable, but I have to admit, mine are better!

It was my first time visiting this upscale establishment great service great environment. Would highly recommend.

Excellent cigar shop. Small but good selection of smokes in the walk in humidor. Rich history to the building and friendly staff. There's also a selection of accessories and even some premium pipe tobacco. Plenty of whiskey, brandy and other spirits but I could not partake this evening. Comfy chairs with an exclusive lounge type feeling when you step in. Recommended stop for the smoker if you're in Hastings (and the last cigar lounge until you get to Denver if you're going west!)

Really cool place. I travel every week for work and am always on the prowl for cigars in local spots and this is easily one of the best I've been to. And so unexpected in a small town! If you like cigars in a true cigars smokers environment, and you're in central Nebraska, this is the place for you.
