Nice little gallery featuring local artists. This is located on the upper level of the beautiful passageway building. There is a LOT of art here, it was hard for me to take it all in. As usual, I don't love all of it, but there is a great variety, and a wide range of price points. I bought a really cute pair of earrings ($15).I stopped in on First Thursday, because I saw a sign on the sidewalk. Some art galleries in the Old Market have events for this. There were snacks, and one of the artists was there to talk about his work and answer questions. Very nice - it's an informal and friendly space.

Definitely worth a walk inside and a few phone pics too. A a few shops upstairs and downstairs and one Mexican restaurant on the lower floor. The passageway is worth a picture. Lots of narrow passage lined with foliage.

A little touristy spot in the Old Market. It's a popular place to take photos of all life events and bring visitors. If you happen to stumble upon it by yourself, it's a very pleasant discovery. There is a ever rotating shift of shops, usually trinkets and artwork and art galleries, and the art seems to change time to time when I visit. Trini and V Mertz have been the stand alone restaurants here since I first started living in Omaha- they are OK but you're paying to dine in this lovely atmosphere.

There is a little bit of something for everyone here! I always manage to find cute stuff for myself and gifts for everyone else too.One of my favorite stores in the Passageway is the gallery off 11th Street that has a selection of local artist's works. I wish I could find cool paintings like these for such great prices in Chicago. I also dig the handmade jewelry, wooden boxes, and tin angel ornaments. The other store I love has entry on Howard Street. It's a long store filled with incense, handbags, scarves, masks, jewelry, wind chimes, clothing, books, knickknacks, wall hangings... If I named everything they sell, this would be the longest Yelp review ever. Try it out. You are bound to find SOMETHING in here.Don't miss out on the shops downstairs either! There is a cute little kid's shop with all the latest toys and old fashioned ones too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beware:They don't accept any returns! Check out the spiritual oasis next door (in the basement). They have books on wizards, meditation, mysticism, Buddism, and all other spiritual endeavors. Buy candles, incense, chimes, charms, cards, gifts, and more. Stay a while and take a lesson from one of the enlightened staff.Literally, something for everyone. Don't miss out on this special space in the heart of downtown Omaha!

What a beautiful gallery featuring local artists and art at a very fair price. I am hoping my review will remind me that we need to go back when we have time and pick out a couple of pieces. The gallery and art reminded me of my time visiting those on the west coast; I am definitely a fan!

I love this place! You are exposed to a little bit of all different types of art in one place :)I also love the fact that the artists take turns manning the register. When I went in Mr. Elmer Miller was there. He was friendly & informative & made the experience that much better!

The actual 'passageway' is my favorite part of the Old Market. It's like a little hidden garden. The main passageway of course houses a couple restaurants and stores, along with some interesting art installations. We recently took the time to go through their main retail space as well. They have a large variety of artwork, from paintings, to photographs, woodworking and other items to browse through. I found the prices to be very reasonable, with some especially prints from local photographers. Whether you want a large print, or only have a few bucks for a small 5x7, they have you covered.

I really admire a good coop. Especially one with as many talented artists as this one. I left here with a ceramic piggy bank; two beautiful, cherry wood bowls; and two glass pendants. Some gifts and a couple for new pieces for me. And everything was so well priced! I'll definitely be stopping in on my next stay in the Old Market. What a fantastic find!

Love the passageway. The gallery's they have, I love walking through and looking at the sculptures. The stores are fun to walk through and explore as well. Theres just something about walking through the passageway. Don't go to the bathrooms alone though, its pretty creepy!

A nice place to walk through. A lot of the art nearby is only so-so, but the passageway itself with all the natural light, brick, and copious foliage is worth the trip on its own.
