Papillion Landing is truly a community gem. It offers a little something for everyone, and so much that I haven't even discovered it all. I first found Papillion Landing through soccer. They have a full size outdoor soccer field, as well as a full size indoor soccer field, which could be divided in the two half or four quarter fields for youth games. They also have three basketball courts, batting cages, swimming pool, and much more. They operate on a membership structure somewhere to other community centers, and it surely a good deal based on all they have to offer. It's definitely worth looking into if you live in or around Papillion La Vista.

This place is so clean and top of the line! We love to go play Pickleball there. Only wish they would put out more pickleball nets especially if the courts aren't being used.

The soccer and baseball area is fantastic. My son practiced and plays winter league there. This is a small part of a much bigger recreational area which will include multiple buildings. Look forward to seeing the final product! https://www.omaha.com/news/metro/papillion-s-million-community-center-will-include-water-slides-lazy/article_224f2ffa-c96b-11e7-8fe7-abc577daeae8.html

This facility is new and very, very nice! The pool area is large and even has zero entry pool with water and slide play area for the young children. A lazy River adds to the fun. There is a big slide for the adults and big kids but usually only open on weekends during family swim, when there are life guards on duty. (Otherwise it is swim at your own risk -no life guards on duty) There are individual changing rooms and they have showers and sinks and are kept very clean. The walking track is really cool! It's up above the basketball courts/pickle-ball courts; with large windows all around. There is a weight area and an area with all of the workout machines in different areas. Another benefit of being a member is being able to take classes of all sorts such as swimming, aqua yoga, yoga, Pilates, stability ball, couples line dance, Zumba, cycling, and Barre intensity. Also, there is a senior center with activities all the time. They even do outings. Child care is also available. The membership is kind of expensive, but for what you get, I guess it is a pretty fair price. I got the senior rate, which was very reasonable for me, for a year. They also give a discount if you are a Papillion resident. You can also pay by the month, but you have to sign up for automatic payment and you have to give them a months notice if you want to cancel. Go ancheck it out they will even give you a tour of the whole facility before you decide to join.

The concrete "bleachers" /steps as nice as they are, are littered with disgusting discarded, chewed sunflower seeds. Who wants to put their purse or personal belongings (umbrella, cooler, etc) down onto someone else's spit-covered seeds? The restrooms were out of soap in both dispensers and there were no hand sanitizers available. Disgusting considering this facility serves concessions.
