Papa D's Pizzeria

Guess I should have gotten the baked Nebraska. Someone else said the pizza is "ok", that is a little generous. The crust looked and tasted like frozen. The sauce was bland, I am guessing canned. The cheese was plentiful. Overall I would say like a decent frozen pizza you bake yourself. Maybe I expected too much off the ratings or ordered the wrong thing.

Friendly and sizable portions. Papa D's has been around for over a decade. Changed hands one time but the new owner purchased the menu as well. The pizza is ok. The pasta dishes are good. Service is usually quick and friendly. Nice small town experience

Everything I've had here is great. Lasagna was a pleasant surprise. So. Much. Cheese. The garlic cheese bread is where it's at.

Ever want to escape the business of Lincoln and find some great Italian food in a small, quiet town? Papa D's is the place for you. Although connected to a convenience store, it also has Italian food that is wonderful. I tried the "famed" Baked Nebraska...spaghetti baked in a glass pie plate filled with meats and red sauce on one half, white sauce on the other half. It was unbelievable. Apparently, two Nebraska football players came in for lunch and also got it. It is a TON of food. The prices are also amazing. The Baked Nebraska was the most expensive dinner on the menu, and that was less than $9. The offer many other options too. Spaghetti, pizza, Chicken parm, and other traditional pasta dishes. The ambiance is small townish. It may not be the place for a golden anniversary dinner, but you definitely cannot beat the friendly staff. So much better than rushed Lincoln restaurants that want you to get in and get out. Finally, it appears it is not necessarily a best kept secret, as it was quite busy when we arrived, but we were still able to get in without a wait, and it was actually not very noisy compared to most restaurants these days. I would recommend this golden treasure to anybody who wants to just "get away". Less than 30m from South Lincoln, you will find yourself escaping here more than once!

The cheesy beard is amazing. The pizza itself is ok, it's the best option in the area but could use some work.

Wasn't sure what to expect, I mean it's located inside a small convenience store for crying out loud. The food is phenomenal, I had the baked Nebraska and damn was it delicious. Can't wait to eat here again and again and again and...

Great Italian pasta and pizzas, try the salads too. If your hungry go with the Baked Nebraska with white sauce. On a littler side the Rancher Salad is awesome.

When going to Firth, NE for their yearly festival and fireworks show back in July of 2017, two friends and I tried their pizza and I must say it was very good. I ask this one stays around. Sometime I'm in there, I'll try some of the pasta that they have on their menu, since I love both pizza and Italian.

Scott does such a Great job! Try the Baked Nebraska!!! You'll need to take a to go box! It doesn't get any better!

The food was great. I would highly recommend the pizza and revisit this during the FFA thing for my school and if you want to eat us really eat pizza it's the best if you're around.
