I'm actually in shock I haven't written a review considering this is my favorite bakery in Omaha!! All of the pastries are so fresh no matter what time of day. I absolutely love that they're open until 9pm for a quick dessert. Simple shop. Sanitize your hands, grab tray and prongs and get to pickin. Tres leches cake is to die for so if they have it in the case make sure to grab some!

Panchito's makes an excellent barquillo (aka cono de crema). Wish they made a churro... Service is pleasant. Ambiance is traditional Mexican bakery in Omaha. Highly recommended.

Very reasonably priced pastries. I'm not sure what some of them are exactly, but at these prices it's worth experimenting. The guava turnover is a favorite.Staff was friendly. When one of the pastries slipped out the grip of my daughter's tongs, they replaced it without my asking (which I wasn't going to do in the first place).

This place is so good, it's brought me back from my Yelp! slumber just to post a review. It's no where near where you expect to find an ethnic bakery of any sort. But don't let the location fool you. This little bakery that could just may be the panaderia for you.Since moving to Omaha, I have grown accustomed to the breads and pastries offered by the longstanding panaderia of Omaha, International Bakery. Over time, I have had the chance to visit other local panaderias, but haven't found one that keeps up with International. That's until I found Panchito's.Foremost, the breads are always consistent. With small operations like this, sometimes, consistency is the worst quality, but that is not the case here. You can expect the same product every time you visit. What kind of product can you expect? Well baked, well flavored breads and pastries. The breads, particularly the conchas, are soft and springy. I do not think I have had a dry concha after several visits. Additionally, the breads tend to be sweeter than other panaderias, which was a nice surprise.I am not comparing panaderias, but I will say that Panchito's is the one to beat west of 30th and is up there with International in terms of quality and consistency.

I randomly stumbled upon this bakery after craving some dessert post dinner and this happened to be nearby. Boy I was not disappointed! It's a small store with desserts lined on the back wall. There were so many to choose from! None of them had labels at that time so I have no idea what I got but I picked up a few pastries to try. They were so delicious and fresh! And the price was great too!

I went around 8:30/9am and the store already basically had no bread. I walked out with 6 bollios, a bag of pan dulce and a tres leche slice. Tres leche was dry in my opinion and was probably about two days old just from the way the frosting on the top cut. I got conchas and they were also dry, not even milk helped them. Bollios were delicious, really enjoyed them with some plátanos! The lady working the counter was very nice and quick on her feet! It's a small shop so I didn't expect much but most reviews really liked it so I wanted to try since I'm new to the area. I would stop again but keep to what I did like and not try anything else.

This is a solid bakery. I've driven past this place my fair share of times & finally stopped in to pique my curiosity. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you step in you're greeted with the smell of fresh baked bread & pastries. The concha's are some of the best I've had & are enough alone to go back. Being my first time there, the ladies at the register were super friendly in giving recommendations for customer favorites. Will definitely be making a trip back.
