I had called a different company where they said it was an $85 service fee and $200 for a garage spring and an additional $100 for the second spring. I had already looked up the prices for the springs which were around $85 a piece. So to try and charge $200 for one spring was ridiculous. I then called Overhead Door Company just to compare. It was a similar service charge, but the person explained that the service charge was the labor cost and the only other charge would be for the springs which were $120 a piece. I appreciate that there will be a mark up on parts to cover costs and I also appreciated the way she explained it to me. She set up an appointment for the next day. The man called and came out as promised, replaced the springs in about 30 minutes. It actually was a very easy process and I needed that today!! I did consider replacing the springs myself, but looking back, it was well worth the service charge and the little mark up on the parts to have it done professionally. I would highly recommend Overhead Door Company for any garage door/ replacement needs.

We have used Overhead Door Company of Omaha for 27 years now. They have installed garage door openers, garage doors, and yesterday replaced one of my 27 year old Overhead Door openers that they originally installed that I could tell was getting tired and real worn out. As always, they showed up on time, did a great job and were reasonably priced. Extremely reliable company to deal with.

Called to have our garage door opener and old springs replaced. the next morning, Tim came out, assessed the situation, and got it all done that morning! It works like a charm! We've used Overhead Door before for repairs, and they are wonderful! I highly recommend them!

The spring on our smaller garage door broke yesterday. Maybe I was just fortunate, but they were able to get a tech out today (Chris) and he had the correct spring with him. He had it fixed in maybe an hour, and lubed both of my doors while he was at it. I hadn't realized how noisy they had become. Great job. Thanks.

We've used Overhead Door for as long as I can remember. Great service, they show up on time and get things done quickly and for a fair price. Professional and reliable.

Very disappointed with our visit from overhead door yesterday. I called on Saturday to schedule a repair as our spring on our door broke. Repairman showed up at noon on Tuesday and said he didn't have any springs with him, he had used them on a prior repair. Said he would have to measure our door and then charge us $65 for the visit and then he could come back in 3 to 4 days to do the repair at which time we would have to pay for another $65 visit plus the part. After expressing my disappointment with this option, I got the option of if you want it fixed today, I have 2 smaller springs that I can put on the door, it will be more expensive then the single spring but in the long run it would save you money because you wouldn't have to pay for the 2nd trip back. What ever happened to customer service? I had to take a 1/2 day of vacation to meet the repair man only to be told that he didn't have my part and I would have to take off more time from work or I could pay more today and get it resolved. After he left, I was still annoyed by the fact that he didn't come with the proper parts so I called the office and was told. Sorry that is our policy. if we don't have everything we need to do your repair on our truck, you will be charged for the additional trip back and we will reschedule your service repair.

I hate doing this - but both my husband were treated rudely on the phone. Did not use their service.

Chris came over and helped me with the keypad to my door. He was on time, professional, and friendly. My brother-in-law highly recommended Overhead Door, and I'm very glad he did. I will use them again when I need them. Thank you, Chris, for your help.

As another reviewer said. Really don't like posting negative reviews. Garage door was clicking intermittently and wouldn't open. Had to manually release then re engage to work again. Tech determined it was a system board and replaced on August 23. Called back on October 27 when it happened again (Intermittent). Wanted to charge a $95 service call for same issue. Was informed it was a 1 year on part and 30 days warranty to come back. Person (Withheld as a courtesy) answering was short and abrupt. Take or leave it attitude. Asked if I could speak to owner/manager to discuss. Person came back with message and said they'll send someone but if they throw another part at the issue or can't determine the issue they'll charge the $95 on top of parts if needed. Been a customer for 15+ years and was not treated like this before. Company seems to only want to insure they cover their $ but from my perspective not confident in their tech's triage of the repair to back up the quality of services. I won't be using them again.
