Fantastic Brunch Spot with Amazing Ambiance and Delicious Food!This place is an absolute gem for brunch lovers! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the perfect tone--warm, inviting, and stylish.The food was simply outstanding. I recommend their Monte Christo. The presentation is just as impressive as the taste. On top of that, the service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

We've been here twice now, and neither time disappointed us. First time we stopped was to try their famous Reuben that was delicious! It was the perfect combination ofcorned beef, sauerkraut, and dressing. Hands-down the best Reuben in my opinion! The second time around I opted for the Monte Cristo sandwich since they ran out of Reubens. The Monte Cristo was very good, but I didn't love the thick slices of ham along with the thick bread. I enjoyed their drink menu, and I highly recommend their hot Cocoa flight on the cold winter days.

I had never had a Reuben until my wife said we should do the great Reuben debate in Blackstone. We made the mistake of starting here first, and I say that because it was the best. I think my wife has created a new addiction on my behalf because now that's all I can think about is their Ruben. We visited with the manager and the assistant manager during this visit, and they were both super friendly. The dining room is gorgeous with its original flooring and restoration. I definitely wanna come back to stay in the hotel, probably eat another Reuben, and enjoy drinks with my wife sometime soon.

Tucked inside the Kimpton's Cottonwood on the main floor is this upscale, fancy yet casual feeling restaurant & bar! When my parents come to town they love staying at this hotel & we have brunch here often! Good food & atmosphere. Had the omelet once and didn't like it but love the avocado toast & their sweeter meals like pancakes & French toast! Blackstone doesn't have too many brunch spots aside from the always packed early bird - so this is a great spot if you don't want to deal with the long wait times or are in the mood to change it up! We've also had birthday brunches here & the drinks are tasty!!

I've had breakfast at the orleans room a few times, and it's a decent breakfast! I absolutely love the atmosphere of the hotel, and how they've designed the orleans room though. If you're an influencer, you'd want to come here lol.Looking forward to trying lunch here sometime!

We have now been to Orleans Room twice and it has become one of our favorite brunch spots in Omaha! First and foremost, we are big fans of advance reservations and we appreciate that you can get Resy reservations!Second, the historic Blackstone hotel is a gorgeous setting for any meal! Even just coming for an everyday brunch meal, it feels like an elevated/upscale vibe. We especially loved all of the Christmas decor this last visit. Gorgeous!And, most importantly, the food is amazing! We each got different meals this last visit and loved everything! We all started out with local coffee and appreciated the bottomless mugs of coffee!My mom got the eggs Benedict with pork belly and loved it. So flavorful and creative! My dad got the Rachel sandwich and loved the lighter Turkey take on the Reuben. My husband got the Reuben and really enjoyed the decadent flavors. I got the Reuben hash and (honestly) thought I got the best deal. Not only did I get the chunks of house smoked Reuben meat, but I got potato hash with fried Brussels sprouts and a sweet/savory gravy. What more could you want?Service has always been top notch, the ambiance is always high class, and the space is very clean/chic. We officially LOVE Orleans Room and look forward to many more future visits!

Vibe | Drinks | Clientele Vibe - Overall, the place has a great hotel restaurant feel. The spot is ideal. The bar is vintage and has a great staff that can make various drinks. The restaurant has a relatively diverse dinner menu and a great atmosphere for a date, catching up with friends, or grabbing a nightcap.Drinks - they have a great cocktail list. We did mocktails because we are doing 75 hard, and they were able to make almost all the drinks with an NA version. Clientele - the clientele is some of the more well-to-do people in Omaha. Between the reputation of the hotel and being close to Berkshire Hathaway, the bar at the end of the night attracts an interesting and eclectic group. So, the chats at the bar are pretty memorable. Pro Tip - it is a great place to go. But, the price point makes it an interesting trade-off compared to other spots in town.Why not 5 stars?- It is a solid place but not somewhere that you Must go. It didn't have anything special outside of the location and history of the hotel/location.

My husband and I stayed at the Kimpton for our anniversary and opted for the breakfast included rate. We love the NOLA inspired feel of the space and our severs were kind, friendly, and overall such good people. My husband opted for variations of the Business Breakfast both days which he loved. I tried the parfait as well as the biscuits and gravy and both received the highest praise from me.

On a recent sat at the Cottonwood Hotel, I dined in the Orleans Room twice and both were super enjoyable experiences in their own right. First of all, the ambiance, decor, and interior design of this bar/restaurant is lovely. They did a wonderful job making it modern but swanky. It's bright and airy in the daytime but low-lit and cozy in the darker hours of the day.On a Saturday night, my friend and I sat at the bar and had a few cocktails and some dinner. Shout out to bartender Austin for the well-made drinks and great hospitality. We had spicy margs and espresso martinis. Both delicious, though not inexpensive. For dinner we had the crab cakes and upon recommendation, the rachel (aka reuben). Apparently this is the birthplace of the reuben so that's cool. The rachel was made up of honey-smoked turkey (yum), sauerkraut, 1000 island, and gruyère cheese. A great combo all atop toasted sourdough. Oh and side of fries, of course. Though my friend didn't loveee it, I personally really enjoyed this sammie.In the morning we ate in the other side of the Orleans Room, which is made to have a very cute little cafe feel. It's all one room, but partially divided so it really felt like a separate space. My friend loved the breakfast burger and I'd say the blackstone omelette was A-ok. Not sure I'd need to order that again, but it did it's job. You're certainly paying hotel-prices to eat and drink here, but the overall experience was worth it. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lance was great. Let's start there. He was my waiter, and he made a great recommendation. My employer paid for my breakfast so I went down to get something to eat at 6:45 but then learned the restaurant didn't open until 7 but I was in a time crunch because I had to leave for work at 7:30.Lance had us take a seat, got us menus, and got us some water by 6:55. He took our order by 7:00 and our food was out in front of us by 7:09.I got the power bowl and some hot tea. The serving size of the food had me full and satisfied and I had lemon and honey with my hot tea, it was the perfect start to my day and I finished my meal by 7:25.Thank you, Lance, for going above and beyond.
