Ooh De Lally

First and foremost I love ooh de lallys mission. I wish more organizations took this initiative. And I'm so glad Marks old location is being utilized again, I always loved the charming outdoor patio and floor to ceiling windows overlooking underwood.And they have some of the marks classics on the menu like Mac n cheese and smoked chicken lasagna.Cocktails, service, entrees and appetizers were wonderful. My chopped salad was a bit underwhelming so I'd pick something different next time, but all of us, including my children, found something we loved.

I could not be happier with my experience and food at Ooh De Lally. Such a beautiful and intimate space. Our server was so kind, helpful and attentive. I cannot rave enough about the food. We ordered the short rib fries for an appetizer and it came out HOT and fresh, and it was a huge bowl of them. They were delish too, everyone in our group really enjoyed them.I ordered the smoked chicken lasagna and it was delicious. A generous portion, I brought half home with me for leftovers. The flavors were just so good. Everyone else at the table really enjoyed their meal too. Overall, I think this is one of my new favorite restaurant in Omaha. There was nothing I would change about our experience.

Hmm. I feel like an outlier here. The reviews are so overwhelmingly positive, gushing even, and yet I can't bring myself to join them. If I could give a 3.5 then that's what would feel right. As it is it's either 3 or 4, and based on our very friendly server (Brooke) and the charming ambience, tie goes up to 4. I really wanted more from the food. I was so very excited for the Brussels sprouts, which were ... fine. Then the pan seated scallops were just ok. The chopped salad was pretty decent. The best thing to be honest was the mac and cheese I kept stealing from my wife. That and the whiskey bread pudding, which I'd definitely recommend getting with the ice cream. No one at the table had that, OMG, you have to try this! moment. Which is kind of sad because the overall ambience and experience deserved it.This strikes me as a good place that should be great. If you're thinking of trying it, you'll probably like it. We all did. What I wanted was to love it.

My friends and I decided to try out the brunch buffet at Ooh De Lally for the first time, and were pretty satisfied with the experience. Google had originally said that the restaurant was closed on Sundays, but when you called the restaurant they confirmed it was open 10am-2pm for brunch, so bear that in mind when deciding to go here. I wish they would update the times on google, as we almost didn't go since we thought it was closed. We had made a reservation for the 4 of us, and when we arrived we were seated quickly even though it was already fairly packed. The restaurant itself is on the smaller more intimate side. There was lots of open windows overlooking Dundee, and so the view was beautiful. The brunch menu itself was small, but it was all you can eat so there was plenty of food to satisfy your hunger.The food overall was good. There was not a whole lot of variety or selection, but the food that was served was fairly hot and flavorful. I know they have limited room to place all the food, but they made do with the space they had. There was a little bit for everyone, but I do wish there was more variety of food served. Overall, for the price you pay and the food quality it is worth the price to me. I would love to check out their lunch/dinner menu in the future!

I thought the lobster roll was so good! It was maybe a tiny bit overcooked/rubbery but I still thought it was great overall. We also got the short rib fries and those were so good as well. Our server was very sweet and we didn't have to wait long to order. The restaurant itself was really cute and comfortable. We went for a girls night but it would be really cute for a date night

This place was amazing. It's small enough that the ambiance is quaint and cozy and you are actually sitting upstairs overlooking the street.We ordered family style to try a few things and the food was very tasty.The service was fast and accurate. No long waiting. Noise level was busy since the space is on the smaller side.There are plenty of various seating options as well as a bar.Great dining experience.

Shocked we were able to get in on a Saturday night but super glad it happened! We showed up without a reservation but not to worry because there's a cute little bar just below called La Bo with stellar drinks to wait! And if you aren't finished you're allowed to bring them upstairs. Absolutely love the ambiance inside. Such a cool place. Loved looking out onto downtown Dundee. Our waitress was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Everything we ordered was tasty starting with the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. I ordered the scallops and they were very very good. The sauce that was on the plate paired perfectly. My husband ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly! He said the potatoes were even on point. This might be our new favorite date spot! It's definitely a little pricey but for the quality of the food it's worth it. Very special place.

Finally got to check this place off the list, and it did not disappoint! We made reservations online, and were seated immediately upon arrival. The atmosphere was dark and cozy, with comfortable seating and low ceilings. I'm sure the views are better in the daylight! They had just rolled out a new menu that day, and our server wasn't super familiar with it, but he did a great job answering any questions we had. We tried a couple of the appetizers, short rib fries were the standout, fresh cut fries with a tasty sauce and tender short rib on top. For an entree I ordered the smoked chicken lasagna, which was a very unique take on lasagna and I savored every bite! Parking was fairly easy around Dundee even on a busy Saturday night. The place is small so maybe not ideal for larger groups. Would love to go back when the weather is nice and check out their little patio out back!

This is my second time and our friend's first time vivisiting Ooh De Lally! Our server was awesome! She was on point & very attentive!Our food was delicious, but those desserts were fantastic The lime tart isn't pictured, but it was quite tasty as well.

I've heard amazing things about this restaurant, and it's mission, and stopping in for the first time did not disappointI have been to the old marks, and of course enjoy their mac & cheese back in the day. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality (and availability) of mac & cheese on this brunch buffet line! They had plenty of options for brunch, sausage, bacon, eggs, prime, rib, fruit, waffles, cinnamon rolls, pastries, etc. My favorite was the waffles, which had a crunchy coating of sugar, which is my absolute favorite! I believe the syrup was real maple syrup as well, as it seemed very high-quality and tastier than any of the phase I have had. The Shakshuka was a very pleasant surprise as well, I haven't eaten this dish often, but it was such a great addition to brunch!The atmosphere was small and cozy, we made a reservation, but didn't appear to need one as about half of the tables were open around 11 AM on a Sunday. This may be partially due to the incorrect hours when you google this restaurant-- it appears to be closed during their brunch hours, but please call them if you are ever unsure!Our server did a great job, and we enjoy our visit. I would definitely recommend this for a brunch group or date!
