Charged more then quoted. Kept car extra day without a call or anything. Steering wheel was way off and they put a part( drag bar) on wrong. Drove for two days and repair failed. The wouldnt give refund and got called a liar. Unprofessional. Crap work. Don't use them!

I was looking at a vehicle out of town and it was recommended to me to get a mobile mechanic pre-purchase inspection. I found this company through doing a Google search. I filled out a form to get a quote on their inspection pricing on the Sat evening, prior, never heard anything (their hours state 7 days a week). Figured ok, maybe they're just really busy. I decide to call them Monday morning. Got all my questions answered & a price: $75 if you bring it to them, $125 if they go to a destination. Thought it was fair, told the receptionist to go ahead and get it scheduled & to please have the mechanic call me when he was enroute. I was told that it'd be looking at about 1:30 for the mechanic Brandon to get on site. Well basically talking to the owner of the dealership almost all day (nice guy btw), never received a call. Finally called them (called all 3 numbers they had listed), no answer. I feel horrible for what seems like wasting the dealers time (he was nice and understanding about it). Finally got in touch with the mechanic around 2:10pm was told he was leaving for the place in 10 minutes. Great! I let the dealer know. They didn't show up until after 3. Now while I understand things happen, mishaps happen, this makes them look very unprofessional on their part. Ok, they're doing their inspection, awesome, was told it would be about an hour. The website description says that after the inspection, expect to get a call. Here at this point, it is now about 5:10. Still no call, no communication. So I call them (no answer), leave a voice mail. Finally they call me back with a very short summary of the condition. Now, until I get the report, I'm obviously not going to act on making an offer or walking away because I want to see the picture in its entirety. After a nice phone call, Brandon tells me that they'll get the report to me tomorrow, I imagine that yes, they're busy. So trying to be understanding that they'll probably need time to type up the report & obviously collect the payment. My thoughts are that I'll be hearing from them when they open the next business day (again their site says 7am-9pm). Finally by 9:10, I decide to call them as this decision on what to do with regards to the car is time sensitive. As I'm about to make payment, I ask if there's any guarantee they put behind their pre-purchase inspections. She informs me that they don't. In my perspective if you are utilizing a company's services to have a vehicle thoroughly inspected. I am placing my trust in your business that I will get what I pay for. But if something comes up that maybe should've been caught, then you failed your customer & on your end of the agreement. But at this point, I'm just wanting to get my report, read it and make a decision. The receptionist takes my card info and tells me that the report will be sent shortly to my email. It is now 11am and still there is nothing in my inbox. My card has finally been charged as of 11:43am. So either the report isn't on the up & up, or they're completely in over their heads with spreading themselves too thin? I finally got my receipt and "report ". The report was basically a shoddy summary of the phone call. No itemization, basically not as advertised per their website. His excuse- they're a small company and don't have forms like that. Excuse me? Then maybe you shouldn't be offering services you can't deliver on. I am beyond livid because this completely feels like a scam. I feel that as a company, not only is transparency a good thing, but also communication (especially to an out of town vehicle buyer) is vital. I also feel that ESPECIALLY with trying to buy a vehicle, timeliness is extremely important. These are the areas where I feel they have failed. Although, I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, although with each passing hour, no apologies, no customer service being provided, I feel as a paying customer that I don't matter to them. Again, maybe this company has bitten off more than they can chew? I would say that if you are an out of towner looking to buy a vehicle in Lincoln & time is not of the essence for you in having to make a reasonable decision in a matter of 24 hrs or more, and you don't care about paperwork? Use them, if you're not that type of person, stay away from this company!
