Omaha Public Library - W. Clarke Swanson Branch

I love this library for its staff, it's proximity, and it's ability to request books and disks from the other branches. Parking is reasonable. Access is likewise good.A/C has broken down a few times this year. Only a problem for us kids wanting more to read or hear or view.Not a big enough issue for me. I'm there weekly!Almost forgot the website. Way easy to find stuff to reserve. So good.

I've read a past review stating the main library off of Dodge is loud before I needed to stop by today. I found this library to be pretty tame and quiet, no loud noises for those who prefer a quiet environment. The parking entrance is tricky to maneuver from Dodge unless you are very familiar with the main entrance. To access most services, you will need a valid library card and most libraries will offer what you expect from a public library. It was not crowded during the mid morning hours and the staff were pleasant and professional. Smaller branches will be a bit more intimate but rhos main library has lots to offer. Everyone should visit this place if you live in the area.

Why would you not give a library a five star?! The library used to be a place where I enjoyed sitting in a corner and read a good book or a magazine, just in my own little world. It's nice to see people still go to the library - especially children, and actually read printed books instead of reading through an app or Kindle. Explore your world at the library!
