I am so incredibly impressed by OLC and the services I received for my wedding dress preservation. I truly feel like my dress should be in a museum, it looks so beautiful. At drop off and pick up, the customer service was fabulous. Every step was explained to me and she was very open about it being 6-7 months which is totally fine since I won't be wearing it again in that time. When I picked up, the woman was extremely helpful. I am so happy with my experience and will absolutely recommend them to everyone. It is a few hundred to get your wedding dress museum preserved but I feel like it's absolutely worth the money for what you get in return. I hope one day I have a daughter that can appreciate my dress, too. Thank you, OLC!!!

My wife dropped off her wedding dress and veil on 11/10 for cleaning and preservation services; we paid ~$450 at drop off. We went to pick up the dress 6 months later on the "promised date" and learn the services were not started due to a backlog of ~2,000 dresses. We decided to take the dress to another business and they refused to provide a full or even partial refund. I spoke with the director of the company, Zach, who denied any wrong doing. Avoid this business at all costs.

They did a good job dry cleaning my wedding dress but that isn't my problem. My problem is what they put me through to get my dress cleaned. First off, it's expensive to get your dressed cleaned here. We are talking hundreds of dollars! When I am paying that much for anything, I am hoping that I am paying for expertise and great service. I didn't receive either when it came to getting my dress cleaned. This place came recommend by the place I bought my dress from so I thought I was in good hands by coming here. When I dropped my dress off the lady at the counter told me it was one of the cleanest dresses she had ever seen, especially for a beach wedding. They also told me that I had to pay more because it was silk (I think around $100 more). Flash forward to a few weeks later where they are calling me saying that I needed to give them permission to "wet wash" my dress, which means that the lace would probably curl up and never lay down flat again, which I didn't want. Then they were telling me that I needed to do it because my dress was polyester and severely soiled??? She tired to tell me it was covered in spray tan and dirty all over. She was obviously not talking about my dress.I was so worried about my dress that I made them bring it back from wherever they send it to for cleaning to me to show me that they were talking about MY actual dress. I was so worried I wasn't going to get the correct dress back. I wanted them to show me where it was "severely soiled" and show me where on my dress was polyester. They couldn't do either. I only allowed them to dry clean my dress and it came back perfectly fine. My dress wasn't cheap and I really wanted to make sure that my dress was properly cared for and preserved. You are stressed enough when you are planning your wedding and you want to trust that your wedding dress is in the right hands throughout the whole process. I shouldn't have even let them dry clean my dress because I didn't trust them but I didn't know where else to go since my dress was lace and silk and I couldn't find another cleaner with good reviews. I don't trust this place and I wont be back.

I really do hate to give them a bad review. BUT, i have had TWO really BAD experiences. First, this place was highly recommended to have my wedding dress cleaned and stored. I had it done, and can I say, it was not cheap. I believe I paid several hundred dollars. I did have my veil done as well, and had my veil placed in a separate box. The boxes are sealed, supposedly, to keep them safe. About 1 1/2 years later, I get a phone call from OLL. They tell me that they have my veil. No, you don't, I tell them. Yes, we do and we are going to charge you for 1 1/2 years of storage if you want it back. Well, at this point I am freaked out, so I RUN to OLL. What they have is the TRAIN from my wedding gown, in a veil box. I was pissed. They obviously gave it to me (at no charge). They were apologetic but it was upsetting. Of course, I want my daughter to have the opportunity to use my dress if she chooses (she won't, she will probably be about 5 inches taller than me--but i can dream). Fast forward to 2005. My second child is being baptized. When i get the gown out I realize it really needs cleaned. Forgive and forget--right? I figure that OLL is the best place to take the gown. So I do. I go in several days before the baptism. No gown. It will be ready on Friday. Okay, I'll come back. Friday--no gown. It will be ready tomorrow (day before the baptism but they are closed Sundays). Okay, I'm going to try to stay calm. I'll come back tomorrow. Saturday morning. Of course, this is also the day of my FIL's deacon ordination. We have to go to ordination in less than an hour. I arrive at OLL, NO F-ing gown!!! The girl (who was so nice and calming) called and found that it was still at their cleaning location downtown. At first she suggested that I go retrieve it. Of course, they closed at 12 so we only had a few hours. After tears, screaming and much conversation, some employee was going to bring it. I had to run home, get ready and then we all went to OLL to pick up the dress, only to run to the ordination. I must say, the cleaning was adequate, but after these two incidents, I could NEVER bring anything here. The staff was always very nice, but someone somewhere in this organization is lame beyond belief.

I've been going to this dry cleaners for about a year with little complaints; however today events unfolded that will lead me to never going here again. I called the establishment and expressed that I may arrive literally a minute or two after closing and asked - partly due to my repeated (weekly) patronage - that they stay open a couple extra minutes to allow me to pick up my dry cleaning. The woman rudely said no, which is not why I'm writing this review, because if lady needs to go when the place is closed she needs to go. However, when I showed up, 3 minutes before closing, she was extremely rude. I mean you're either open or your closed and if you're open, then do your job. I'll be taking my $40 a week dry cleaning elsewhere.

Jacki and the team did a marvelous job making my daughter's wedding dress asike ready. Arranging to have it shipped from the bridal salon in CA to their store couldn't have been eaaier. We received an email to tell us it had arrived, a follow up to tell us it was being prepared for steaming and a kast one telling us it was ready for pick up. And what a surprise when we picked it up. They has a bodice insert which maintained the shape to avoid wrinkles before the big moment. Thank you Omaha Lace Cleaners for such excellent service.

Best dry cleaners in Omaha. Fast and friendly. They call you by name, email you about specials, and your stuff doesn't come back with that starchy sheen or smelling like typical dry cleaning chemicals. They pamper your clothes. 5+ stars.

I took in the dress I was to wear to my son's wedding. I asked for it to only be pressed because it had a lot of beading and I didn't want to take any chances with them. When I picked up the dress and paid $35.00 (was shocked), the receipt said on it "defective thread". I got the dress home and removed the packaging. About six inches of beads across the front neck line were missing. So I immediately understood why they stated "defective thread" on the receipt. The only reason I went to them is because I thought they were experienced in dealing with dresses with bead work and would work carefully with the dress, not give me excuses. Also, upon further review of the dress, I noticed that the store packaging creases were still in the dress. So I paid them $35 to loose the beads and not to have a pressed dress. At this point I realized they were not going to stand behind their service, so I luckily had spare beads that I sewed on the dress. By the way they did not return one of the beads that they lost on the dress. I then googled how to press the material in the dress and was able to remove the creases. On the wedding day I received many compliments and none of that defective thread broke and all of the beads made it through the day. (Interesting) The thread and beads even made it through a local dry cleaners.I will never return to Omaha Lace and I will tell my friends.
