Omaha Integrative Care

I really had high hopes that I would get the information needed to start my new journey in relation to nutrition. First appointment was today. There was no goal setting, no discussion of which nutrition path is right for me, no meal planning, and no strategies for a healthy, balanced diet, all of which are promised on their website! I was, however, told by the "integrative nutrition health coach" at the beginning of my appointment that "she is NOT a licensed dietitian or nutritionist" so she wouldn't be able to meal plan and give me the more structured support that I want! BUT "she could be someone that supports me on my journey." I got up and left because I'm not paying for someone who is NOT licensed and I'm not there to "rent a friend!"

This is the kind of health care that we all should have had years ago. Coupled with Strada, this is the perfect model, joining affordability with a staff that truly does care about the well-being of their patients. Rather than only healing the sick, they work on a plan for avoiding illness. With Wendy as our primary care provider, we never feel rushed, and her ability to connect and really "get" us is amazing. Forget about all the political mumbo-jumbo about healthcare in America. OIC and Strada show exactly how it all should be done. We feel fortunate and blessed to have discovered OIC.

I have been seeing Kate M for massages for over a year and I couldn't be happier. She takes the time to understand what my problem areas are and really focuses on making me feel as comfortable as possible. She has very flexible hours and it makes scheduling an appointment very easy. 10/10

I met Colleen Brown, independent massage therapist and reiki master who works here, 6 years ago. I came back for a massage and reiki session and was incredibly moved by the experience. This is NOT a Massage Envy or the like. This is holistic care. I am so thankful to Colleen and the folks that put this place in existence in Omaha.

I was twenty minutes late for my appointment - -weirdly I had the same issue as the 1* reviewer; my GPS was NOT working. However, Camilla got me in, only charged me for 1/2 hour, and gave me probably the best deep-tissue massage I've ever had. What started out as a stressful event turned into the magic I'd hoped for. I will be back!

I went to Stephanie's Saturday morning yoga class this morning and LOVED it. Her positivity and clear queuing combined with a tranquil atmosphere with lots of fun props made it a very positive experience. Thanks OIC!

Had a fantastic massage from Camilla! She remedied the pain in my shoulder and relaxed my body!! Highly recommend her!!

Very disappointing. I personally feel as though it's a scam on the nutrition side of things. The outlined services that they state on their website were not provided bc they do not have a LICENSED dietician/nutritionist!

I would not recommend Allison McKamy for reasons related to mental health. Although she is a seasoned nurse, she has very limited experience when it comes to mental heath issues. Her responses to questions are very delayed, she does not take the time to thoroughly answer questions or address issues at hand, and her knowledge of medications and how they affect someone is severely limited. She seems to approach patients taking a one fits all approach, prescribing medication that makes matters worse rather than better - expecting everyone to react the same. To my knowledge, she has very limited experience in her specialty (2+ years). Concerns are dismissed, and she is very reluctant to try a different approach outside her wheelhouse of the 2-3 medications she somewhat knows. The practice is great, but would highly recommend seeing someone with much more experience. Hopefully after a few more years she gains the experience necessary to be great in a highly needed field.
