Finding gymnastics lessons for my 6 year old was no small feat...between outrageous pricing and limited availability we settled on premier. A lesson for 1 hour of training and tumbling was still about $20 a pop and this can easily add up. We knew going into it we would only commit to 5-6 lessons. The facility itself is a massive warehouse with loads of equipment for tumbling, gymnastics and other related activities. There is a sort of balcony with bleachers where you can watch the kids train.I kind of felt like this was a gymnastics factory with at least 8 different classes going on at one time and the kids shuffling from one instructor to another during the course of their class. This is an environment that will train strong athletes in the sport. The facility, particularly the bleacher area could use a deep clean, way too much trash lingering below the seating and dust accumulated on the speakers and televisions. The website also isn't very user friendly. At the end of the day though our daughter enjoyed her time at premier. They also offer some very reasonably priced camps in the summer months.

Our kids love it here. Tom and both owners are VERY approachable and funny. The kids enjoy the time there and the teachers are very good.

Ignore any review that is prior to summer 2023. Premier Gymnastics was sold to OGA and transferred over then. New owners and new coaches. My daughter has been going here since summer 2021 (we moved here from D.C.). OGA staff and coaches are great. My daughter loves it and has great friends here at OGA. The staff holds regular meetings and parties to make this a positive experience for everyone. There's also a good parent booster club that enhances the overall experience for the girls and parents.

We have had a great experience getting our daughter started and fueling the love for gymnastics. The upstairs seating is great to be able to watch your kids but being out of the way. Lauren is a lot of fun and truly pours into the kids. We have had a great experience.

We had our daughter in gymnastics there for months. When we went to cancel, we talked to the person they had at the front desk. She said everything was good and made no mention of a written cancelation policy. The next month they took money out of our account. When we called back to ask why we were charged, the written cancel policy was the reason. When we said we were not made aware when talking to the front desk employee, we were told their employee told us about the policy and they do not believe us. If you are looking for a trustworthy family gym you better keep looking.

Never been more angered in my whole life. Staff basically insulted my ability to parent my own children and demanded that 2 adults be present to watch my twins while my oldest had her class. I was changing my infant son's diaper when one of the twins tripped & hit her nose while playing (happens all the time in a 2 year old even if you're standing right next to them). They got all nervous because it was in the big foam pit area, which was not closed off in any way from young children. This triggered the gymnastics company to basically punish my oldest child by demoting her to the younger class so I could somehow watch them all better. I've literally taken care of my kids by myself in numerous settings (Children's museum, Zoo, Durham museum, etc) without issues or complaints before. Not going back.

Worst experience with any business in town. This place is a glorified daycare. Premier may have been about gymnastics at one time but today it is a complete waste of money. They have expanded into dance, karate, etc and the place is just a daycare. The staff is rude, many of the "coaches" are incompetent, and the quality of instruction is greatly inferior to many of the other gyms in town. We actually started gymnastics at Premier and left after a year because we were unhappy with the gym. After Covid shut down the gym we switched to, we had to go back to Premier and have regretted that decision every day since. This gym only cares about taking your money. They do not care about teaching gymnastics and they certainly don't care about their gymnasts. We were finally able to get away from this gym after another year of being screwed over by them and will never be going back. I recommend avoiding this establishment at all costs.

my son was very prone trips and falls due to vision problems. Doctor suggested gymnastics for balance help. One thing led to another, and a few years later he had so much core and upper body strength. It was SO good for him; and learning to do backhandsprings was a treat to watch as well. He grew out of it in his teens, but I can never say enough thanks to Premier for the strength, conditioning and training and self esteem during those formative years.

Don't let the name fool you. If your looking for a place for your team gymnast, keep looking. Tom the owner and Bob the the head coach for compulsories, have lost touch with reality. Totally unapproachable, and has no intent on changing.
