Ole Cow Palace

I hate BUT MUST shout out to ole Cow Palace In the AM! Great BREAKFAST dive joint located in the middle of GI, NE! That's all I am going to say besides I can take 10 ppl for breakfast & it's cheaper than take a family of 4 to McD's

Surprise find today for lunch with B. She having special of chicken fried steak and mashed tators. I'm doing a burger, Swiss and fries, with a Coke. Old divey setting I like a lot. Chicken Fry was really good quality meat. Smaller portion. Gravy n potatoes, mashed and french fries, both were apparently from packaged n frozen. Not very good. I liked my burger. Was real good quality meat, but small. Nice thin type bun was better than a standard type. I might return.

Best burgers in town on Wednesday night and one of best breakfast around for the money!!!! Great staff

The Cow Palace is a great value! The atmosphere is laid back and they have plenty of TVs if you're there to watch the game. When I worked third shift, I would come in for breakfast after work and the food was always good and I never spent more than $6 for my meal.It's kind of off the beaten path but well worth it.

Never really been out on the town in GI before and heard about this place from a guy uptown. The is a good ole boys bar for sure, with stout drinks and reasonably priced. Usually has country swing dancing. By far my favorite bar in GI
