Love this little specialty oil shop. You can sample any of the oils or vinegars before you buy, which is great as they do have quite a variety of flavors. If you go when they're not busy, you really get to see the depth of the staff's knowledge. I was able to walk around with an employee as he explained the differences between the oils I was tasting. It was nice to have this personal touch and clearly see their passion for their products. I've never had a bad quality oil here either. Some of the flavors may not be my favorite, but it's neat to be able to try them.

The shop has changed owners since my review 3 years ago but it still offers the same great service and excellent products. I believe they even have a larger selection of products now. I've discovered a couple of new favorites -- the cucumber melon and jalapeno lime balsamic vinegars. These are a little thicker and can be used as a salad dressing by itself. At only a few calories per tablespoon, this is a much healthier low cal option than traditional dressings and tastes fantastic. I use a drizzle along with a sprinkle of salt & pepper on cucumbers and many other veggies. I like to joke that a dash of the right balsamic can make anything taste good! I also recently purchased an almond crème balsamic that tastes great on fruit, cheesecake, ice cream and yogurt. Of course it is pricier than a vinegar you would get at the regular grocery store but so much higher quality and so worth it.

If there's one thing chefs don't skimp on, it's olive oil. There is a ton of selection of oils, vinegars, and spices. Wish the open hours were a bit longer but otherwise a great local business to back.

This place is awesome, I should have stopped in long ago. So many amazing balsamic vinegar's and olive oils. So many delicious flavors and the truffle and other flavored salts. I love it. Reasonable prices to boot. The woman we spoke with was very friendly and helpful as well. We'll be back for sure.

This store is delightful and unpretentious! As someone who primarily uses average EVOO for cooking, I will readily admit I don't know anything about gourmet oils or vinegars, but I do love sampling them. I popped in here on a Saturday when I had some time to kill. They have a huge selection of gourmet salts, oils, and vinegars and each item has serving suggestions that tell you which foods it would pair well with. They have small paper cups (like condiment cups) so you can sample all the oils and vinegars. The gentleman behind the counter (I believe it may have been the owner) was so friendly and I felt very comfortable sampling about a dozen of their vinegars and oils. When I told him I was partial to the fruit vinegars, he made several great suggestions of items he thought I would enjoy, and I ended up buying a small jar of their pear balsamic vinegar that he recommended I try and even told me some interesting information about how it was made. They have 4 different size options of jars (the smallest sizes start at around $5 and the largest size are around $16). This store is a great place to pick up a gift or even just to pick up something new for yourself.

Had an amazing first time in at this store yesterday! I unfortunately did not catch the name of the woman helping me but she was wonderful! She even gift wrapped a couple items for me and they were beautiful. I'll definitely be back.

Having visited several oil and vinegar stores on the West coast, I can say that the selection here was smaller than what I am accustomed too. That said, the gentleman manning the store today (perhaps the owner?) was very helpful and enthusiastic about the product. As with most oil & vinegar stores, you are encouraged to sample via small paper cups (like the ketchup cups you find in fast food restaurants). I sampled 3 combinations based on the gentleman's recommendation and tasted 3 others I thought I may like. I ultimately went with a jalapeno/lime and then a pear balsamic.. The small bottles were $10 each. I also asked about some seasonal rotation and the gentleman filled me in some of the combinations they do throughout the year. Yet ANOTHER store that I will likely spend too much time and money on but well worth it.

A wonderful girl was filling in for usual person/owner. She was so helpful as she found the many answers I was asking & kindly explained about these white balsamics I usually order on Amazon. I wish these products had better nutrition labeling ie portion size, added sugar, salt but her friendliness and assistance made up for it.

I absolutely love this store. I live in Washington state and we don't have anything like this out here. So I always order online and can't wait until my order comes. My very favorite is jalapeño lime. So good.
