Scott came out today to fix the grounding to the house. Quick, friendly and efficient! This is the second time I've used Oak Hills since buying my house and definitely won't be the last. Great company with good people from scheduling to job completion!

WAY too expensive. Look, I understand electrical work must be done correctly. Many electricians can do good work. Oak Hills does good work. But they add an extra hour to the job every time...you look at your bill and you think, "that guy was not here 3 hours, only 2!" So an extra $85 is added to your bill. Also, they ALWAYS have to run to the store to pick up a piece they are missing/needing and that counts against your time. In my case, the guy was missing a switch and plate for a can light. Then, when he came back 45 minutes later, he had the wrong switch plate - which they charged me for anyway!! I like Oak Hills - they show up at least. But too expensive for my taste and I will not use them again.

I always get good service from Oak Hills Electric. Their technicians are friendly and know their stuff. I've never had then miss a bid on a corporate or residential project and if there is a problem or complication they talk to me face to face or on the phone and we resolve whatever the issue might be. I highly recommend these guys if you want a fair price and the work done right.

I highly recommend this business, the team they had out was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, it was a delight to work with both Matt and Neil. Had a basement remodel that need some electrical guidance and work done. Wanted to add a bunch of can lights As well. And They did everything I wanted and then some, also helped with the entire remodel in general. These folks generally wanna help, and don't charge an arm and a leg, it was truly refreshing. Recommend asking a lot of questions and having a couple of beers with them after , great guys.

Called them out for an estimate. Took the time to walk them through the project, was promised a bid in a few days, a week later made several calls no response and no bid! Terrible customer service!!

Gary B.I took a fan in for bearing replacement. The fan was working fine just noisy as far as the motor bearings. I was quoted a price of roughly $140 dollars for the repair. The bearings were $90 dollars which seemed very high but this shop does repairs for Casablanca fans. I was then called and told all of a sudden my fan stopped working and I would need two new boards for about $145 plus labor. I just picked the fan up and used another electrician to get it working. His viewpoint was the boards were switched. He said it was very strange both boards would be bad all of a sudden when they worked when the fan was first brought in. I expressed my concerns with the shop to no avail. I will never take anything back there and will never suggest anyone I talk to ever use this shop.

I went to have an antique crystal chandelier cleaned and rewired. Since I own a shop, I asked to have all the left over parts for future projects. It was the worst experience. First it took two months for them to finish the job. Then I received a call asking if I wanted to sell the fixture for parts. Then they called and said they had broken an arm and all the arms would have to be replace (Are you getting the picture here?) and would do the repairs for just the labor. Every time I called to inquire I was told that they were waiting for parts.I finally received the chandelier, it was horrible. It was not structure the same. You could tell they used other parts to construct it. They did not use a cloth cord using instead one similar to an extension cord. The whole chandelier was loose. The column and cups (called bobeche) were so loose they shook. The washers did not hold the cups down. They used the wrong arms on the fixture then requested and insisted that I asked for them. And finally, the kicker is they kept the original crystal arms denying it of course. I know this because the original ones were an odd size 5 1/2" and gave me cheap standard ones. After asking to purchase the chandelier for parts they end up replacing them and keeping them after all. My experience with their work was slow, dishonest, and sloppy. Use them at your own risk.

I have two older lamps that needed repair. They quoted me around $60.00 for a pole and table lamp. The bill came to under $60 and my lamps are like new. They even replaced a small part to the shade insert. Lamps work great now. Family owned. Nice people. Recommend and would go there again.
