Honestly it's disappointing to have to write this review. We enjoyed our time at North Point Villas until the end. However, after we moved out, they decided to charge us over $1,300 (after they counted the deposit as utilized) for non-visible and non odor causing stains, without any evidence that they came from us and not previous tenants. They used a black light to argue the stains, despite not including anything regarding black light inspections in the lease agreement. They are arguing we owe charges of $510 for the alleged carpet damage. We disputed these charges and they claimed they do black light testing for all units that held pets, and then refused to say whether they did the same testing before we moved in, therefore they were unable to confirm they came from our pets. I think this is an issue because children can cause the same staining, but they won't test the carpets to ensure the stains were there unless there's a pet involved.I also explained that unless there was visible staining or an odor, legally it was not my responsibility, per the legal advice I sought out. Only then did she claim that there was a "strong odor," despite the entire apartment being cleaned spotless before we moved out. They also charged us a cleaning fee of $120, again, despite the fact that we scrubbed the apartment top to bottom and even rented a rug doctor to ensure that any pet dander wouldn't bother my mother, who is allergic to cats, when she helped us move out.I spoke to multiple staff, one of which said "since you know everything," when responding to my concerns, as listed above. She changed her answers multiple times and cut me off in conversation. I will admit, at this point I began to lose my temper and become verbally aggressive, which is absolutely my bad, but it does not negate the malicious and predatory practices this company, and many other rental property companies, utilize to squeeze every penny out of their, often vulnerable and financially tight, tenants.

Poor communication. Woke up to get ready for work to find out that the water in the kitchen and bathroom has been shut off. No prior email notification received. Tried to call the office within office hours, and nobody answered. Had to call the emergency line to be able to get ahold of somebody.Update: management has reached out to me the following day to apologize. Appreciates the follow up call.

I am very disappointed in this apartment complex. My son was a tentant there for 5 years while in graduate school for his Master's and PhD. When he graduated and gave the office notice that he was moving...and even a little before that. They changed management. They hired the bottom of the barrel to work in the office. They gave him so much hell in the last couple of months. And added all sorts of made-up fees. This is a person who has always been on time with his rent for 5 years. I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex.

Do not apply here if you do not have a co-signer even if they tell you you will most likely get approved, they just want to take the application fee and admin fee, Camille was really convincing and told us to apply since it was most likely to get approved, turns out we needed a co-signer and the admin fee was a complete loss as well as the application fee.

We have lived here for eight months. The on site management is great. They respond promptly when concerns are reported, or when maintenance is needed at our unit.Changes were made based on resident feedback. The community is pet friendly. There are a lot of dogs. A dog run, fenced play area was just installed. This is a great feature we use every day. An area for improvement would be how to address residents who don't pick up after their dogs! Another community feature that we hope will be upgraded soon is the opening of a second pool. The size of the current pool is small for the number of residents. The grounds are well maintained. We have not had any noise issues. The cost is a good value. This is a nice place to live.

Lazy management has taken over in the last couple years, the vetting on tenants must be very minimal now. Management refuses to do anything about tenants riding 4 wheelers at 11pm on week nights, just a lot of small issues that add up, and for the price you have to pay to live here, it's not even remotely close to worth it.

This place has been a disappointment, first it's the dog poop all over (asked if they could get it picked up) not in the budget. Then it was if they could salt my drive way after it snows ( was told there was a salt storage 2 yrs ago.) have to save it. They don't clear all the sidewalks..People park any place they choose , no parking zones, handicap spots with no handicap tag. Block views to see the incoming traffic, as there is no speed limit. So, if you like having trash all over the place , night lights out , again all over . This is the place for you..Enjoy

I am in love with my apartment and the complex in general! All the leasing specialists are very kind and resourceful. Maintenance is pretty quick too! The amenities are beautiful and it is a very calm community. I feel very safe here and am very happy with my decision to move!
