Nordstrom Rack

I am a bonafide bargain hunter! I was excited when I heard NR was coming to Omaha. I love shopping the sales online and looked forward to getting to touch and feel products in real life.I was left wanting more from the store. The pros: Ample parking, easy entrances. It's large, with very tall ceilings, and things are in departments that make sense. Now, in terms of product, and overall experience, this really gave me Gordmans meets Ross, but with Nordstrom prices. I didn't find anything here that was quality and affordable. A lot of kid items looks like they could be at Tj Maxx but were 2x what I'd pay. The merchandising itself is lacking and add to the cheap side of things which is a contrast to the actual pricing. The lines are queued like Bed Bath and Beyond, and overall I just felt a little blah leaving the store. I don't think I'll return for a while, hopefully they get more merchandise in the store as right now a lot of racks are sparse and lacking quantity.

New store in the Village Pointe mall, formerly the spot of Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I had a Nordstrom gift card to use and decided to visit today. The merchandise available wasn't bad overall compared to other Nordstrom Racks in other states. Prices were reasonable and the store, overall was pretty clean and organized. However, the clerk wasn't well-trained to process gift cards. She was very nice, apologetic, and sincere but it took a while before someone more experienced intervened and processed the card for her. Overall, an average experience at this new location.

Large selection at fantastic prices! Couldn't believe some of the higher end brands they have. Store was clean and there's not a ton of employees on the floor but I still felt it was enough. Great signage so you know where to go for brands you're looking for. Only day 2, so I know it'll improve but the only complaint I have is brands being in other brands racks- I'm sure that is just customers putting things random places though and will get better when there's not hundreds of people in there at once. Great location for this store! Welcome to Omaha!

Very disappointing. I looked forward to Nordstrom's Rack coming to Omaha but shopping in this store was third rate, at best. The women's clothing selection was similar to a Ross Dress for Less. Unimpressive.

Horrible service provided by one of the cashiers on 10/31. Tall, thin, young female. Would have judt shared her name but she wasn't wearing a name tag. I was returning a box of clothing I had ordered but the sizes were not good. All labels were attached. Her first question was "when did you buy all this?" Then she kept on rolling her eyes nonstop and throwing the return receipt towards me. She kept on making negative comments. I was so upset by her behavior because I know she was not behaving this way with the customer she helped before me. I am a loyal Nordstrom customer and her behavior during my very first visit to this store was a huge turn off. I would not recommend shopping here. Go online, shop, and just bring your returns here since they charge for return shipping. I did ask her to call the manager for me and I complained to the manager. The manager listened to my complaint but I am not very confident she'll take any actions about the employee. I really hope they understand she's a bad hire and will fail them!
