Noodle House

Tried this recommended place for the first time and it did not disappoint! Though the menu is simply one page and the restaurant itself deserves a much-needed re-vamp/facelift.... The pho is delicious and served hot & fresh the waitress was attentive and kept busy as the place began to fill again as we were headed out and I can see why: Perfect food option for a cold winter's day! Thank you Noodle House!

Introduced my friend to avietnamese cuisine, his first experience. I've been here several times, never disappointed.He had pho, and I the pork bun. I had to take a large cup home, such large portions, and very good, served with cilantro, bean sprouts, basil and sliced jalapeños on the side.I will return , obviously. But my pal is more a "Midwest diet" kinda guy. Not keen on ethnic foods.

With tax. $22. Large beef pho two spring rolls two fried rolls. Sauce is perfect. Tons of meat. Tons of sprouts and herbs. Amazing. Wish they did separate containers for the hosin and one for hot siracha sauce.

Arrived at noon on a Wednesday, a few tables were filled and by the time we left the place was full. Service was decent, a bit of a language barrier but it is a very straight forward Vietnamese menu so it wasn't a problem. Food came out fairly quickly. Food came out on a rolling, very squeaky metal cart. Hoisin, chili oil, siracha, sesame oil and soy sauce are on all the tables.The orders of pho contain plenty of meat. Egg rolls were full of pork too. Heaps of thai basil, cilantro, jalapeño and sprouts on a separate plate. We never received a paper bill but we saw others go to the front. Even with 10-12 tables occupied, the owner knew our order and gave us a total. We were unsure about tipping since I think the owner served us. But we gave one anyway.My one complaint is the bathrooms. It could give a corner gas station a run for the money. Gross! Wiped down but not clean. Grey sinks, splotches on walls, baby soap for your hands. We drove 15 minutes off I80 to find food that wasn't from a chain-restaurant. Overall a positive experience.

Very limited menu compared to photos on Yelp. Seemed like other tables knew a secret menu. You seat yourself, but no sign to do so.

So very good!!This tastes so fresh and light, the chicken is done just right!! This is a wonderful place!

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for lunch. It was a super rainy day in Grand Island and so I guess we weren't the only people with this idea as the Noodle House was packed! Whenever we got inside, every table was taken and there were other people in front of us. We weren't in a hurry though and so decided to wait and it ultimately took about 15 minutes before we were seated. The inside of Noodle House consists of both tables and booths and could probably seat 40-45 people if all of the seats were taken. It's walls were brick and my wife commented that it looked like an old Pizza Hut.For lunch on this afternoon my wife decided to go with the large chicken pho while I tried to go with the shrimp and pork vermicelli. However they were out of it that day and so I decided to go with the same as my wife, a large chicken pho. After only a short wait our food made it to our table. The bowls were large and filled with a good amount of noodles and some thin pieces of chicken. It's broth had a nice flavor to it and I took the opportunity to add the usual Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños and lime and also added some of the spicy stuff on the table. The end result of that is that I had a spicy and sour soup which was enjoyable. There were a ton of noodles in it too and by the time I had finished all of them I was absolutely stuffed.The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our pho and it did its job of warming us up on the rainy day.

Best vietnamese place, my mom is great friends with the worker I'm great friends with their son their food is great 10/10 Recommend coming here better than pho saigon, other places

It's an extraordinarily place to eat! Food is exceptional. No waiting for seating, and the service is fantastic! You must try this place! You'll love it as much as I do!!

Former pizza hut, simply furnished, simple menu, good solid Thai food! Usually busy!!
