NEW DAY Coffee + Smoothies

TLDR: Very good. Very expensive. I'd go 3 1/2 stars if I could. The coffee is fine, probably a tick above average. The smoothies are excellent. I like the Green Goodness, my wife likes the Velvet Elvis... And the service is good, mostly young people, polite. Totally acceptable but nothing I'd call "extraordinary."The price kills me every time... Coffee is on par with what you'd expect going out for coffee. But the smoothies are exorbitantly - almost movie theatre popcorn levels - expensive. Turns my stomach a little every time we go... but we keep going, so I guess that's the market. Food options are what you'd expect, prepackaged, overpriced but no more than any other upscale coffee shop. In summary, Everything is good. It's just expensive.

Lots of seating. Very roomy booths for working or studying. The small flavored latte was $5. They are very friendly with uplifting music and overall energy. It's always an option for me to spend time when I'm in town visiting the fam.

Very nice coffee shop. But the last two times I ordered a breakfast sandwich it was microwaved wrong. Jimmy Dean frozen at home would have been better.

The Velvet Elvis smoothie was very good. Good seating, would be a great place to study.
