This is my opinion and as such should not be seen as slanderous behavior:Seen Dr. Brian Boes today for the first time for pain and numbness I have in my whole body. I know I have diabetic neuropathy and thought he may be able to recommend some sort of therapy or something that my VA doctor would not know about. I thought because neuropathy's root word is Neuro that a Neurologist would be the best approach to deal with this. He asked me to touch his finger and raise my arms and legs to resist him pushing down on them and a couple similar things like that. From that 10 minute evaluation he told me " your symptoms make no sense, it's all in your head" (exact quote) no test or anything, he referred me to a psychiatrist. I can't believe I have to pay for that. I won't be using him or anyone in his office again.

Worst doctors office I have ever had to deal with. When I first went in they told me I was in network and they were and found out then my insurance was added to the network and even though they told me I was in network I still had to pay out of network so I was lied to. All the test that were ran they never found out what was wrong with me and the last visit after having 3 seizures while my husband and my mother and I were trying to ask questions the doctor tried to walk out of the room over three times because he had better places to be. Again worst doctors office ever.

The care I received here was excellent. Although my Dr. Birkmann has since retired Dawn gave me great care and got me my needed medications. I was being treated for a headache for 18 years and wondered why nothing helped. Dr. Birkmann had my correct diagnosis within 5 minutes! He was a life saver for me! From other reviews maybe things have changed since I was there but I never ran into rude staff and as I stated even though my doctor retired Dawn continued to get my needed medication. There are several doctors there so if you don't like one ask for another and maybe you'll have a better opinion.

Perhaps the worst doctor's visit ever, I left feeling greatly insulted and insufficiently helped. Was referred to Dr. Boes for migraines and neurofibromatosis. The entirety of the visit was about 15 minutes at most (not enough time to fully discuss such complicated issues). The whole of the visit Boes was very short, and firing of questions very fast. In regards to migraines only asked where pain was. Did not ask and did not give opportunity to talk about other symptoms of my migraines. Did a maybe minute exam; follow finger, touch finger, pressure, pin prick. Proceeded to write me a prescription for a medication I previous was on stating I previous had extreme side effects, not even asking me what side effects were. Refused to give prescription that had previously worked, on the grounds stating my insurance would not accept, without even checking whether they would or not. Did give a referral to optician for the NF as it can affect eyesight. After dismissing me, and waiting at the desk for the assistant to setup the eye appoint, Boes near ran out of the office.. ... IF there was some sort of conflict with giving me time for a quality meeting. I really would not recommend him.

I had seizures. I went once to Dr. Pattee and then stuck with the neurologist I had been seeing. Dr. Pattee was nice and friendly. The staff was nice also. Now I am getting sent back to Neurology Associates, but, will have Dr. Kniss this time. Cause the neurologist I used to go to, don't take my insurance anymore.

The doctor Bobbenhouse saved my life by finding out what was really going on in my brain. The other Doctors wouldn't listen to me and took 2years to get to him and he did the tests to answer the questions. I sometimes wonder if things would be better if other doctors had listened to me
