Nelson Contracting

Nelson Contracting has addressed a leak in my roof. Since their work was completed we've only had one relatively small rain storm, but there was no leakage. So I suppose the jury is still technically out on whether or not the leak is completely fixed, but I will say that I enjoyed working with them, finding them responsive and consistent in their responses to questions & emails, and the cost of the work was not out of line. I have already asked them to do an additional small project and will have them quote me soon on a substantially larger project, which is a recommendation in itself.

I asked Nelson Contracting to repair three problems caused by the original installer of the siding. On the first visit, their people worked on all three problems, and fixed one. I had them come back, and they fixed one of the remaining problems, but the third still eluded them. It took a third visit to finish the job. This was a simple job and should have been done the first day. Like many contractors, Nelson uses subcontractors. These guys spoke little English, and communicating with them was difficult. My rep was concerned and tried to make it right, but it took time and effort.

Great customer service, great work, friendly and personable. Gave me some suggestions on how I could reroute The downspouts for a couple of my gutters. I really appreciated the suggestion. It was very helpful! Yes I would use their service again.

Initially Nelson Contracting was prompt in working with me regarding colors and product choice. They built a porch on the front of my house, installed all new siding fascia, gutters and replaced shingles. Workmanship was OK. They also promptly repaired my fascia and gutters following a hail storm last summer. I am currently having questions regarding insurance information and invoicing. Repeated tries to contact someone to resolve this issue has failed in spite of trying for more than 4 weeks to speak to someone to resolve the issue.

Nelson Contracting has never disappointed us in our experiences with them. From roofing repair, replacement and new gutters with guards, we have had quality work everytime!!They leave your property as clean as they found it too!! That's a bonus!!They get in, get it done and don't charge an arm and a leg!!
