Nebraska Ale Works

We have eaten here twice during travel. It is near the motel we stayed in. Both times the wait staff has been very unfriendly and the food average. The second time we only ordered pizza to take back to the room and it was terrible pizza and what little we interacted with the people there they were unpleasant.

Excellent lunch now of gluten margarita pizza and side salad. Beautiful and really good as usual.

Service was good. The waitress was super helpful and patient when I was trying to make my beer selection. The food was mediocre. The chicken Alfredo was fine (I asked for no parsley due to allergy and kitchen still put it on- luckily it wasn't a lot so I was able to pick it off) but the kids pizza had a weird taste. I've had better food at chain diners.

I can NOT believe the service I received from the manager or said to be the manager. I didn't like the way my burger was cooked and he picked up my knife and cut it and said looks medium to me and walked away. Absolutely pathetic and unacceptable! And what happened to the red head girl she was an awesome manager and part of the reason I kept coming back. Floor in restaurant was dirty.

Great new addition to the Kearney restaurant scene, right off I-80 and smack dab in the middle of the hotel hub. The lineup of Nebraska brews is reason enough to stop. The menu is anything but limited, so it was hard to make a selection. Went with the Bison Meatloaf, and was not disappointed. Fries were crispy, and the bbq beans were solid. Want to try the duck gumbo next time. Service was great, and the place was clean and modern. The pasta looked great, as did most everything else. Cool place with great beers and grub.

Stopped for a quick bite while traveling through. Had the GF cauliflower pizza. Hubby had fish and chips. Both were phenomenal. Not a single complaint. For a bar it was not too loud. Service was great. Make it a point to stop by and NAW on some great grub.

I wasn't expecting too much, pleasantly surprised. Decor was warm and inviting, the crane mural was quite attractive. Service was above and beyond, waitress had to wait while we perused the extensive beer list! Beer was great and pizza was good as well. Crust was great. Might have to stop in Kearney more often.

We had a burger, soup, pizza and salad w/chicken. Food was really good, they have healthy options as well. Great and prompt service. I liked the decor and the music they were playing (pop music). We were driving from Utah to Illinois. It is a great stop to take a break from driving. Very clean.

Food was ok, but a bad experience with the service really has left a horrible taste in my mouth. We saw the server twice. She didn't bring out her food when she did check on us.,The second time we saw her, we were done and she just dropped the check. We didn't see her for an extended period of time so we decided to use the app to pay and wouldn't you know it as we leave she chases us down like we skipped on the check, we explained the situation but thought shouldn't she be aware that we could've paid on the app? The confrontation was awkward for everyone and left me extremely offended. Sad for a place that has a pretty cool vibe and decent food and of course we're always up for a brew pub. It's one of the better options in my opinion of a place to eat in Kearney, but if this is the way the service is going, I won't be back.

We drive back and forth between Golden, CO and Michigan multiple times a year--we've started stopping here for dinner and it's never failed to be absolutely delicious! Bison meatloaf- win. Cajun shrimp Alfredo -- amazing! Side salads-wonderful. Shrimp appetizer- legit. Staff is really nice. Restaurant is clean. Music isn't too loud. It's a long drive with a great highlight in the middle!
