Neale Woods Nature Reserve

We visited this nature park to try and find new places to go on walks. What is really nice about Neale Woods is that it is no overly crowded like some other more well known parks. The walks could be easy or turn into hard hikes, it's up to you! The scenery here is so beautiful! You feel as if you're just surrounded by nature.

Neale Woods is a great place for hiking, flower viewing, and fungi finding! We've visited a few times and seen different neat natural things each time we go. It costs a few dollars ($5 the last we went), but that fee goes to upkeep on the park, so it's a good cause you're paying toward.The only issue we ever ran into was when we hiked a bit and came out of the woods onto a road, and weren't sure which way to go to get back to the main entrance. Luckily, we guessed correctly and went the forest way, but a few signs may help others not make our mistake.If you are looking for a fun activity for the whole family (or just yourself!), give Neale Woods a try!
