Mutt & Jeff Drive In

This is a must stop if you are in Falls City, Nebraska. This drive in has been around for years and continues it's rich history of great food and service. You must try the beef burgers, but there are plenty of items to test your taste buds. Remember this place is seasonal so they are not open year round. One of the cool features of this place is they still use hops to take your order...a great first job or summer job for a high school/college kid. This place is run by locals who grew up in Falls City and know the history of Mutt and Jeff's and have dedicated themselves to great customer service and by keeping to the traditions of Mutt and Jeff's have allowed many to come home and relive some great memories.

Okay, long story made short. . . Oh my goodness do they have the best onion rings on the planet! The large order is PLENTY for two grown adults. We also enjoyed their Fish Sandwich. It was pretty awesome too, but, we went back for the onion rings!

The beef burger was one of the most disgusting things I've ever tasted. Wish I had taken of picture of it because I don't even know how to describe it to people. The cheese bar was ok though.

This is my favorite place in the whole world. I visit my grandma every summer and we always go to Mutt and Jeff's every night. Cheese bar enthusiast. Such a staple of Falls City and has become part of our family tradition. Service is quirky and speaks to the small town, and there's nothing like pulling up to a drive in and flashing your lights for service, it's so nostalgic

Butterscotch and peanut butter shake!! Best shake ever! Fast service and wonderful students.

ordered ahead and when we showed up no other customers were here until a few minutes after we arrived, all we ordered was two large sides and we received smalls and then after requesting to have our larges they give us the same bag with another small order of only one of the sides, very disappointed when being told back our order over the phone and we assumed they had it right. I'd recommend hiring people who can pay attention to what they are paid to do.

The saying is you can't go back. Used to love this place years ago, so stopped in while in town. My tenderloin was paper thin and overcooked. My cheese bar was almost burned so it wasn't good. The onion chips were good. The car hop was on the ball and pleasant.

It has amazing food and has a bigger menu then most restaurants(because it's on the roof on a huge sign) the cheese bars are amazing

Great food, not so great service, but that's expected due to being understaffed. They almost never get your order wrong.
