This museum is packed wall to wall with anything and everything geared toward auto enthusiasts! The collection is quite impressive as how they were able to fit all the vehicles, parts, and displays in the building. Employees were extremely knowledgeable providing explanations for items inside, offering guided tours, etc. If there's not enough in the museum for you, they're currently expanding the building to include a plethora of new exhibits/displays!

This is a nice place to stop if you've got some extra time on your trip through Nebraska, but definitely don't plan a trip here specifically for this museum unless you're really into classic race cars. The museum itself has some hard to read small lettering on its signs- I have 20/20 vision after my PRK surgery and i still had a problem reading everything. The museum also has no touch signs on EVERYTHING. So bringing little race fans is hard as every child will want at least one thing to touch. The museum has one floor dedicated to just children's cars and games, but none of which you are allowed to touch. The museum seemed a bit unorganized as it had a section dedicated to classic race cars, and then a section dedicated to bicycles, then random children's games, a wall of random lunch boxes, and other items that didn't seem to fit right. Overall we adults enjoyed the stop, the four year old race fan was disappointed to have seen pictures of toddlers sitting in child sized cars but not being able to even place a finger on any of them at the museum.

Plan to be here a while. This place is huge. If you like to read about what you are looking at, you could spend all day here. They have every genre of race cars and then some. Guitars signed by famous racing people (on the ceiling), pedal cars, album covers from music featuring cars, classic toys, lunch boxes and much, much more. Three floors jam packed. They had to kick us out when they closed for the day.

I have visited many car museums but the best one ever is in Lincoln. If you have never visited it you don't know what you are missing out on. If you have visited but has been a few weeks or a few months ago you need to revisit because it is constantly changing with different displays (cars, motorcycles, bikes, pedal cars, toys). Soon to be added will be an interactive section. Unfortunately it is one of the best kept secrets!!A real fan of the museum, Bill.

Not just cars! It's HUGE and contains something for everyone, not just gear heads. My kids loved the Lego race track and the hundreds of pedal cars. So much historical and interesting stuff to see. We will be back, and often!

This museum was so interesting and I'm not a car expert. I chose it for my husband and I was very happy I did. Will recommend it to our family and friends:)
