Muchachos

Wonderful food! I ate from their food truck from an event but, have visited multiple times in person too. Their tacos are good sized! I typically get the brisket or pork tacos but today i got one of each with the works. Their sauces are all very flavorful and balance nicely together.

Muchachos isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure where smoked meat and cheesy carbs join forces to blow your taste buds out of the Midwest. Their Hatch Mac is so good, it should come with a warning label: "Caution--may cause spontaneous happy dancing."Come for the smoked meat, stay for the food coma, and leave with a newfound appreciation for Nebraska's hidden spicy side. ooweeeee

I would like to start this with saying this was from the Omaha Muchachos before they closed! Either way either location, the food was always fantastic, everything was always quick and hot! The first time we went they were SLAMMED, they actually turned people away because they needed to get through their orders already taken before taking more! Happy we got in before them! The Hatch Mac quesadilla and burrito was fire, we always got "all the toppings", which had a lot of flavor that brought the meat and mac n cheese together as one. We will miss you here in Omaha, but now we know where to eat in Lincoln.

The people, the freshness, the casual atmosphere, the people in the back on the grill, all make this place sizzle. It's a few blocks from the main downtown area, and very walkable. They serve street tacos so buy three, Go ahead and try all the fresh salsas.

GUT BOMB HEADQUARTERS. We had the Pipeline burrito. Half the world's protein must have been in a tortilla that measured four feet across. Seriously. It was a good burrito but not a great one, at least for me. I like 'em squishy with lots of sour cream and cheese. This thing was so large we ate off it for two days, like the carcass of a Thanksgiving turkey. The staff was good people.

Muchacos is literally our favorite place to come eat when we're in Lincoln. The food is always great and I never walk away hungry. The hatch Mac burrito is by far my favorite and my kids love the quesadillas!The service is always friendly and you will never want for anything. We have had nothing but good experiences here and I can't recommend it enough!They are opening one in Omaha soon too!

I stopped here four days ago following the husker football game. We went on the recommendation of a friend, but I have to say I wasn't overly impressed. The staff seemed very friendly and we were getting our food to go to eat in the car, so we didn't stay too long. I ended up going with the burrito bowl with brisket. The brisket was good but it tasted pretty standard. It didn't have a lot of extra flavor which I was hoping for. The queso was decent but I wish there would have been a little bit more of it. I think the worst part of it all was that my rice was undercooked. There were lots of little bits of crunch in there that really threw the dish for me. I really did enjoy the avocado crema though! Perhaps I should've gotten all of the works to give the bowl little bit more flavor that it was ultimately lacking?Overall, I thought this place was fine and would maybe give it another try. I just think that maybe I had a bad batch of rice?

I was finally able to sneak into this hidden gem here near downtown Lincoln! First of all, the owner Nick is really cool to talk to! Very down to earth people here as expected, with great service. The inside decor is really cool and vibrant on entrance! The outside front looks cool too! Well, getting down to the food and drink now... I ordered the Brisket Breakfast Burrito with Avocado crema sauce inside! Awesome mouth-watering best brisket Burrito I have ever tasted yet!!! I love their red and green salsas, which I had on the side. The lovely lady at the counter made me an iced Golden Graham latté. Such a wonderfully made coffee drink! Love all about this place. Today we went in and they were out of a lot of items. Also my food was lukewarm. My friend waited about 35 min for her food, something about the food buzzer not working and because of that they had to remake it? I love Muchachos so I was sad to have this experience today.

Muchachos rocked my retirement party. Wife worked with Nick to plan tasty offerings for 200 and didn't disappoint. Brisket,smoked chicken, pulled pork, Mac n cheese,nachos, soft tacos. Many many compliments on delicious come and go. Great job!
