Mosaic Pickle

This one of my favorite food trucks in Omaha! From their pulled pork sandwiches, to their loaded gyros to the cheesy potatoes you can't go wrong with any item on the menu. The woman running the show are just as delightful. If you see them parked sometime, stop and give them a try.

I got the spicy Thai noodles which was a peanut and I think a coconut milk base. It wasn't very spicy. They did not have the ingredients to change the spice level which was a bummer. I ordered mine without meat so they special made it. I liked that they offered a few vegetarian options. Overall the food was ok, nothing fancy. I'm undecided if I would go back.

I just had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The sandwich was rather small and basic, nothing to write home about. The tomato soup was good, but a small serving. The container it came in was only half full. It cost me only $6.50, so I guess the portion fits the price.

Finally had a chance to try this Food Truck out for lunch today. I had read their menu on their website and was prepared for what wanted, but when I got there they had different items listed, which, for me was a bonus, because they had the 5 I had hoped for from their web site listings. I first tried their Puffy Greek Steak Tacos, which consisted of a fried tortilla shell with steak and a feta cheese salad mixture, that was to die for. Very well done and presented.Next I had their Philly steak Quesadilla, which was not disappointing also. Hard to mess up a Quesadilla, but this was above average in taste and texture. Glad I made the trip today, check their facebook page for location and daily menu. They have maybe 10 menu items, but only serve 5 of those in a given day.

I had the Chicken Curry it was outstanding. Ladies running the truck were super friendly. We had the Mosaic Pickle brought to my place of employment. These fools all order hamburgers. Next time I hope they have the pork tenderloins. I have just seen pictures but, it looks like it's the BOmB!

Just got to experience Mosaic Pickle food truck for the first time- yum! Unfortunately for my boss who went with me, they do NOT serve pickles. She was really looking forward to them, too. I had the pork tenderloin for $8.50 that came with a small bag of BBQ chips. The tenderloin was delicious, and I would definitely get it again. It had a great flavor and was not overly breaded. My boss had the Southwest Rice Bowl. It didn't tell us on the menu what all was in it, so we had to ask and was told chicken, rice, black beans, cilantro, and an avocado ranch. It sounded good, but when another coworker asked if she could have it without the chicken, she was told it was all premixed so no. Hearing it was premixed turned me off from it, although my boss still ordered it. She later said it was not very good and lacked flavor. Judging just by my food, I'd say try the tenderloin!

I have loved the gyros and sloppy joes so far. I am also interested in the pulled pork stack over cornbread to try.. YUM!

I had the chance to try this food truck during beer fest and it was excellent! It is everything you want in a food truck: friendly, fast, reasonably priced, and delicious! We tried the chicken fajita and philly steak quesadilla and they were both full of flavor. Both of them together were around $7, which was much cheaper than a lot of the other food truck options.

We rented this food truck for a work lunch and holy cow!! I got the Puffy Greek Steak Tacos... blew my mind! They were delicious and stuffed with meat and toppings. No skimping here.

Incredible fusion food off of a truck! Deanna is the bomb! I had a Philly Quesadilla and Greek puffy tacos. BAM! Amy the partner is awesome too! Two women killin it!
