They don't offer fair amounts on solid gold products. I have taken a few things there to see what they would offer or value them. They are not jewelers and I know because I took the same items to a jeweler and they valued the items far above this Pawn Shop.

I bought a desk and chair from there. The desk was handmade and in good condition. Also, a good price. The owner was showing me the desk and pointed out that there was an Indian nickel embedded on the desktop. So I purchased it and asked them to deliver it. The next day comes and they didn't show up. I called and asked for a refund and they denied me a refund and wanted to bring it another day. I told Larry that if he's not giving my money back, I want it at my house within the hour and didn't care if they were about to close. They delivered the desk, but upon looking at it, they did damage to it when they dug in to get out the Indian nickel and replace it with a regular nickel. That is so shady, disrespectful not only to the customer but to the person who made it. I will be calling my credit card company and disputing part of the charge for intentional damage done to the merchandise. I will never go here again for any reason!!!!

I have been pawning things with them for a long time and just today I lost my items due to a change in the way they do things...In the past when I have pawned something, I have 4 months to redeem the ticket, or at the forfeit date, come in and make a minimum month interest payment...also, they have always given a grace period to get that interest payment in. My ticket came due yesterday, so I went in this morning and was told that my stuff should have been on the floor for sale already is the manager was working, or I could pay 2 month's interest payment. I said what happened to the grace period for the interest payment that they have always given and why is 2 months interest payment due instead of one? The employee told me they don't do that anymore. I asked her why they didn't inform current ticket holders that they have changed their policies before the due date so they wouldn't lose their items. She said they would have called me and told me the day it was due to tell me that needed to pay 2 months or lose my stuff. Long story short, I went in to make one month interest payment on my stuff the morning after, didn't have the 2 month's payment which has never been the way in the past, and also they did away with their grace period on interest payments without telling anyone who currently was holding a pawn ticket. I lost my items today and am very upset. I would recommend anyone to go to AAA pawn. When they bought Capital Pawn and changed they way they did things, they told everyone ahead of time so people would not lose their items. I only went to Moore because it was closer to my house...BIG mistake and now I lost my items. Maybe they "changed they way they do things" on the tickets of items they wanted people to forfeit...hmm
