Monkey Wrench Cycles

These days I'm not big on human interaction, but everyone was friendly and helpful. And I was just getting a new tube for my garden cart wheel. Done in minutes while I waited. Reasonable price. Do recommend.

I lived in Lincoln for 4 years and bike commuted for all of them. I've lived in a few different cities where I had to find a place to service my commuter bike. This was my place for Lincoln. I never felt pushed to buy something there and it was pretty easy to drop in (or walk in carrying my bike) and get fixed up to get home. They were also tolerant of my endless questions about advice on commuter maintenance, gear, and winter riding.

Fantastic bike shop with a good variety and helpful, friendly service. The old bikes up on the walls are super cool, too. We were initially drawn in by the store's info section on their website. Check it out and read about the three friends who started this place up. They had Kona, All City, and a bunch of other bikes--really great stock selection. My husband was happily helped onto a bike to test ride. And everyone was super friendly. 10/10 would come back again.

Nice shop here with great staff and selection of variety for riding all levels. Cool setting and location also. Will return for more.

I really enjoy this place. Sometimes I go there just to spend a few free moments. I ask questions about all of the bicycles in the shop. They have so many classics on display, as well as ones for sale. I'm not an expert, but I really like riding. The employees are always quite helpful, and they never talk down to me because I'm not super knowledgeable about bicycling. I can tell that they love bikes because they are more than happy to answer questions and talk about bicycles, even knowing that I am not in the market at the moment. One day I'll get a new bike, and I'll probably get it here.

This is my favorite bike shop in town. The mechanics are really nice and always reasonable. My bike always comes away in great shape. I go in the shop fairly frequently, once I needed to buy a cable and I had forgotten my wallet. The mechanic said "I know you, you're in here all the time - take the cable and come back and pay us when you can." I went back the following day to pay for the cable and as long as I'm in Lincoln, I'm only bringing my business to Monkey Wrench! You guys are the best!

Nate and Eric helped me find a full set of Biopace half-step chainrings to put on my Cook Bros CBR crankset despite how that might be frowned upon by The Culture. Good guys. Don't bring your e-bike here for repair; their insurance doesn't cover them. It's not ideological.

The owner was helpful and solved our problem when others wouldn't even try. Excellent customer service and trustworthy. Reasonable prices.

These guys and girls know bikes! Chris is super friendly, knowledgeable and makes shopping for a bicycle, already an exciting thing, even more enjoyable. Better yet, they will service your bike for the lifetime for free.

I really like Monkey Wrench. The guys are straight shooters and will give you an honest assessment of whatever ails your bike. I won't go to another bike shop in Lincoln.
