Mister Toad

This is my favorite dive bar in the Old Market. I love the vibe of the old English library pub, and the patio is just gorgeous with the beautiful trees and string lights. We stopped in last night before dinner, and I ordered an espresso martini. When it came out it was dark, so I was nervous - if you know, you know. However, this had to have been the best espresso martini I've ever had. Not bitter at all. Mister Toad's is always worth the stop!

Great customer service and a pretty nice selection of Bourbon. Mister Nearest. Inside it's like an old library nice wood furniture and in the heart of the downtown bar scene. 11 out of 10 recommend. They also have a large outdoor patio.

Often good musicians once played here. Very little room. Mostly drinking alcohol. Very little food options.

My favorite Old Market bar; the old England ambiance inside and intimate patio outside make every spot a great spot. I loved their banana split drink for a dessert after dinner but this has changed to a peanut butter banana drink that's still good. They also have a good selection of beers that are priced great for the area.

The absolute worst experience I have EVER had at a bar. To begin, our server made all of us feel uncomfortable with a rude tone and asked "What do you want?" when she first came over. (After not coming over to us for a long time). As if we were a burden to her. We all were appalled by the horrible service we received. She never asked if we wanted to keep our tabs open or not and she brought us our checks without us asking for them. It made us feel very unwelcome. We went inside to close a tab, and when we were leaving she held the door open for us. She said something snarky about how we should've tipped yet was the worst service I've ever had. I then said I expect good service. She said something about how we should come back. I said I won't. She then followed us around the corner to JD Tucker's to harass us on if we've ever been in the service industry and to try to make us feel bad for not tipping her. She also asked me how old I am and when I answered she immediately grimaced and walked away. The whole time she had followed us she could have been doing her job and serving her other guests. I will never come back ever again.

Some friends and I went here for a late night drink last month/We luckily found a couple tables and all sat down.The waitress came over right away and took all of our drink orders. I felt bad because most of us were on our own tabs, but she was really cool about it.A fun bar that I would go back to again.

Very cool ambiance here with smooth jazz playing in a library environment. The weather was perfect so we sat outside but the bartender was kind enough to come out and take our order. Not many beers on draft but a rather extensive selection in the cooler. Really enjoyed the music and laid back vibe.

Classic English style bar with amazing hot drinks! The special coffee is a must have!

There on a beautiful fall evening, nice outside seating and indoors as well. Enough parking during weekdays, weekends are definitely gonna be a challenge. Good English pub, run by an Irishman . The bartender is fun to interact with and good at what he does. Good collection of alcohol and some nice cocktails, no food though. Service is good, prices are reasonable. Can be a nice relaxing place for an evening cocktail or a late night drink.

Such a fun place to visit in Omaha for an afternoon drink on the patio or a night cap. It has a cool interior and despite some of the comments below, the staff was incredibly friendly to us. The drink prices are totally reasonable especially for people who are from out of state or who have been outside of NE.
