Miranda's is such a wonderful addition to the local Omaha food scene, and I can't recommend it enough! From quality, variety, flavor, and service, this place is top notch. My friends and I visited Mirandas to try the Salvadorian cuisine. We tried the Pupusas, Yucca, and Napoli. The variety of options in Pupusas was FANTASTIC, as there are various vegetarian options, meat options all with options to be spicier if you add the jalapeños (which I highly recommend). With such a range of options for Pupusas, there is no way that one of them wouldn't fit into your flavor preferences! The Napoli taco was such a unique addition as a vegetarian option. The texture of the cactus was shredded, which made it a great meat alternative, and the taco itself was overflowing with cilantro - which is a WIN for me. The shell was clearly hot and fresh, way better than any other tortilla shell I've ever had at a restaurant in the United States. The Yucca was such a great sharable option, and was delicious: crispy outside with soft middle, and lots of toppings! We got it without pork, but it originally comes with meat! Also, if you order a margarita, it is HUGE and worth the price. Absolutely delicious, and with various flavor options. The ambiance of Miranda is cozy and warm, with a small bar, lots of seating, some tasteful led decor, and a TV near the bar for sports. You can feel that this is family owned by the kind service, thoughtful suggestions, and homey feeling. I have to point out that our server, Jeni, was fantastic and provided us with recommendations, smiles, and fast, nonjudgemental assistance when I spilled a drink. I can't wait for this place to become an Omaha staple! Go and support this awesome Salvadoran spot, you won't be disappointed !

I was at an event at the Public House and decided to order food from Miranda. The girl who took my order was super sweet and recommended so many great things. She also delivered the food to me. I ordered an asada torta, one cheese and jalapeño pupusa, and one bean and cheese pupusa. They were so good I decided to go back a few days later. The second time I got an asada street taco, it was the BEST I've ever had. We also got the Pan Con pollo. Which was also excellent. I will be going back for more tacos ASAP. The Curtido slaw for the pupusas was also the best I've ever had. I ordered and extra side.

The gang decided to try Miranda's Taqueria y Papusas in Rockbrook Village for lunch. The interior is similar to that of one of its predecessors, Little España, including location of the bar which has a few seats. There are both high and low dining tables. TVs were on. They didn't have any homemade water, so three of us started with the Splashberry drink while the other had a Horchata. I can say the former was delicious. We received the complimentary chips with salsa. I hate cold salsa and don't understand why restaurants don't at least bring it to room temp before serving. I don't know anyone who eats cold salsa at home. The waitperson brought three bottled salsas for our mains. Two of us ordered the Desayuno Miranda breakfast, one ordered various street tacos and I don't recall the other order. All were enjoyed but one friend was disappointed the shrimp taco had only one piece. LOL. The slaw would have benefited from some, or more, vinegar IMO; it was better with the addition of salsa. I desired less salt on the eggs which, by the way, quickly dropped in temp or should have been hotter. Overall, service was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Upon paying the bill I was asked if I was paying by cash or credit card. Appears diners can save some money by paying with cash. We agreed we will try to return sooner than later as there are other menu items to enjoy. It should be busier. Recommended.

What a great addition to Omaha. The food was amazing! Papusas, tacos, every bite was great. VERY reasonably priced. Outstanding margaritas. Nothing I like better than a family owned restaurant. We will be back!
