What a wonderfully run practice. I was long overdue for an eye exam and found this practice through my own bit of research. I'm very happy I did, as Dr. Michaels and his team were great. From start to finish, the whole experience was much more enjoyable than the average doctor's office. The doctor answered all of my questions without hesitation and overall genuinely appeared to enjoy his job. Rare gem in the medical feed - thankful to have found them

It was a cascading series of events. First the doctor screwed up the prescription, so the glasses that were delivered were wrong. Wore them for a couple of weeks trying to "get my brain used to them", which was a disaster. Returned them, they discovered the mistake. Sent them off to get another pair.Came back two weeks later and the second pair was also incorrect. Had to send them back to the lab with the promise of "we will expedite this and get them in a day or two". Well that didn't happen. Finally two weeks later I got the correct pair. So far no attempt to keep my business after all this.

We have been getting our eyecare here for years. The staff and doctors really know how to take care of us. It is nice being able to go to a place each year and get the same quality care as the first time.

Dr Lodl is great but I have an issue when Mary at the front desk forces you to pay money you don't owe. I have hit my out-of-pocket for the year and showed her that and she said it didn't matter I still had to pay the co-pay even though I no longer have co-pays for the year. She was rude and making sighing sounds like she couldn't be bothered. No one should have to pay this place money that they don't owe. Completely unprofessional and not a way to run things. Attached is the chat with my insurance that shows I did not owe the co-pay that I was forced to pay by Mary.

I had an eye exam scheduled elsewhere and walked in and walked right out. After doing some research and many reccomendations, this is where I was led. I am so very thankful for the staff and service. I have an almost 2 year old and 3 year old. The exam was for me and you know how busy little children are, the staff helped but the play room was the most amazing thing ever. Keeps the littles busy so you can tend to business. I was told about the program for littles so we WILL be back in a month or so.I saw Dr Weiss

Millard Family Eye is great. The staff are always quick and courteous, and making an appointment is easy.I always see Dr David Michaels when I go, and he's great. He always totally explains what's going on, tells me whatever options I have, and he's generally a nice guy. I appreciate the time he takes with me.I recommend all my friends (and whoever is reading this) to go see him for their next eye appointment!

I took my 2.5 year old son here for his first eye care visit and we'll never be back. We were there for nearly 2 hours most of that time was spent waiting. He ended up having to get his eyes dilated which they had us go back out to the waiting room for 20 more minutes to give his eyes time to fully dilate. After30 plus more minutes of trying to keep a extremely restless child entertained and to keep him from touching everything, I finally asked the receptionist if she could check and see how much longer it would be. She came back and said it's going to be a few more minutes. At this point my son is beyond done waiting he's screaming I just say we're going to have to reschedule and I take my son to the van. After a few minutes in the van my son seemed calm enough to try again, I really didn't want him to have to come back and get his eyes dilated again. So we went back in only to hear the receptionist talking about us to her coworkers this went on for a few more minutes before she realized we were at the front desk. I confronted her about talking about us and how that is not great customer service and all she said she felt bad for my son. When we finally saw the Dr. after another 10 minute wait and I told her about my experience, she didn't seem shocked by her receptionist's behavior nor did she apologize. She basically defended her by saying I just needed to "bite the bullet" and just waited. As I mentioned before, this was his FIRST eye appointment and we did not know what to expect. We had no idea how much longer he had after the dilation. Horrible experience. Horrible service. Will never go back.

They are good about getting you in on short notice . All the employees are very nice. Fastest service they don't just keep you waiting. Very happy with their service!

Had an incident with my dog where he scratched my eye. ended up being a lacerated cornea, VERY painful. I was able to contact Millard Family Eyecare and get in same day. Staff was VERY helpful and friendly, and Dr. Michaels was exceptional. He was thorough, followed up with me after providing contact bandage, and even came in on his day off to remove the bandage the next day. 10/10 service!

I went here for about 2 years before switching to a better eye doctor. They could not get my prescription correct. I complained 3 times to one of the doctors that I couldn't see properly and they refused to change my prescription and just told me "that's as good as it's going to get". Well, I switched eye doctors - got a new prescription (that was drastically different than what Millard Family Eye gave me) and could see perfectly. One of the doctor's was also quite rude to me. During an appointment I made a comment that an ad they had in the exam room advertising a service they were providing was not accurate. The doctor responded to my small comment aggressively and demeaned/made fun of me in what seemed mostly like an attempt to "put me in my place" for pointing out a problem with their ad. It was extremely unprofessional and nasty.
