Milano’s Italian Restaurant

Had heard rumblings about this place so my mom and I decided to stop here for lunch when we were in the area! It doesn't look like much on the outside and it's in kind of an interesting, right off the highway, middle of nowhere area but what a fun vibe when you walk through the doors. You feel like you're transported back to old Italy - very The Godfather. I love the Italian inspired music they played. Lots of space! They even have a separate bar area. We got the fried cheese ravioli to start...WOW. I could eat that all day long...if you go you have to try it! My mom got the lasagna - not a large portion, just right for one person! It was really tasty! I'm not always a fan of red sauce and I thought it was very good. I got the Caesar salad - it was a lot lighter than a regular Caesar, not creamy, more oily. It was delish! I got the chicken with it and it was cooked to perfection. You also get delicious bread rolls when you come in for free!The service was great! Our server was very knowledgable. If I find myself in the area again I would absolutely come again! Fun experience!

The Misses and I decided to have a romantic dinner for Valentines Day and this place did not disappoint. They had a special menu for the day and we loved it. The inside feels romantic with a fireplace crackling in the back ground. The crab stuffed mushrooms were flavored well and the sauce was actually used to dip the fresh bread in by my partner and I.The salad was delicious as well and I can say it was all hand cut in house based on tiny imperfections in the cuts and I loved it.The Shrimp Modo Mio was also delicious and I only wish I could create these sauces at home for pasta. The shrimp were great, albeit tail still on, and the tortellinis hot. Nothing but freshly made food here. Now the service was amazing. Our 6 month old daughter was smiling ear to ear at our waitress as she interacted with her and really felt that we were people and not just another table and tip for a busy night.

Late lunch that was Amazing! We were the only table given the lateness of arrival. We had prompt friendly service. The restaurant was very clean and really a nice surprise to find. The inside does NOT match the outside of the building. It's very comfortable seating, many semi-separated rooms including what looked like private rooms for parties or meetings. We ordered brewed iced tea, house salad with their yummy balsamic vinegarette dressing. Veal parm and a baked sausage penne dish. The bread was light on inside, warm, and crusty on the outside. Super great service, amazing food that rivals many in Omaha, plentiful portions with enough for lunch the next day. It isn't a drive by folks, it is a destination! GO!!!!

Food is amazing hot fresh and well prepared. Best place for a salad in Plattsmouth and the only Italian food. The service is always warm and friendly.

Absolutely delicious and luxuriant cuisine. This is some of the best food I've had in quite some time. Every dish that my entire group had was beyond excellent. Calamari cooked perfect. Shrimp, scallops, etc all exactly well done. The sauces on the various dishes were out of this world and the mixed drinks were all excellent. Amy was our server and did an excellent job. Everyone needs to try the food here. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered calzone, house salad and tiramisu to go. Got home and I'm sad to say it was the MOST disappointing calzone I've ever had. I asked for pepperoni vs sausage. There were 3-4 pepperoni rounds in one side and one on the other. The ricotta and mozzarella cheeses were not thoroughly melted. Although it didn't mention vegetables on the menu, every calzone I've ever eaten, had vegetables. The house salad was nice. The tiramisu was not bad but not great. The waitress that took my order was very efficient and very pleasant. I'll try Milano's again but definitely something different from the menu.

Food is great. We have been there or takeout since they opened. Very good itslisn meat sauce and speciality pasta is great and good portions.

Tonight was my first night at Milanos's and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the service outstanding. We had Almir taking care of us and he did not miss a beat. There were six of us in our party. Mom had the Damabianca, dad had the seafood Alfredo. Both loved their food. My sister had the fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp and chicken. I had the classic baked ziti. Again we both enjoyed our dish. A friend had the Marsala and her dad had the Tuscan ribeye. I did not get a chance to ask him how the ribeye was. I know she liked the marsala. Mom and I each had a glass of Moscato which was very sweet and refreshing as it is supposed to be. The rest had water, beer, and lemonade. The table already had two carafes of water so we were able to refresh our waters as well.The meals are served with fresh bread rolls and butter. We did start the night off with the crab bites appetizer which was very tasty. Finished with two orders of the strawberry cheesecake, one Oreo dessert, and one cannoli.Sorry, I forgot to take photos. I would recommend Milanos and I will be going back! Almost everyone in the party had leftovers as the serving sizes were what I would consider large. We did make reservations and got seated immediately. It was not super busy, but there were several tables of four or more guests in the area where we were seated..

Very good service! Food was amazing just a tad salty! Felt very wowed at the beautiful inside!

First and foremost Very good food! Came during a slower time but service was good. Food was cooked fresh and portions were large. Both my wife and I left stuffed and satisfied. Definitely will be coming back.
