Midwest Towing & Recovery

Our travel trailer had a broken axle and could not be moved as it was. The driver, Andrew, was able to lift the axle off of the tires in order to safely tow it to a repair facility. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend him!

Woke-up to find one of our rear tires was flat. We had been having issues with both of our rear tires since we drove thru the war-torn streets of South Chicago (thanks Waze! -_-) and this was not a huge surprise. So Carissa used her USAA app to get us roadside assistance and less than 30min later Nathan showed up. He gave us a bit of air so that we could make it down to the tire shop to get a patch. He was very friendly, efficient and seemed to be good at his job. Also he had matching slime lime shirt and sneakers that were pretty cool.

Thank you, Nathan! Having to deal with a flat tire at 6:15 a.m. on a Saturday isn't fun especially when you're trying to get an early start on your road trip. I used my USAA app for roadside assistance and Midwest Towing & Recovery was our savior. Nathan arrived super fast and with a friendly smile and attitude. We appreciate the help!

This company was super helpful the woman I talked to on the phone was great helped me get a truck to where I was when I was stuck on the interstate with a flat tire. She even talked to the driver to see if he'd take me to my hotel after we drop the car off. I was so thankful because the roadside assistance from my insurance found a tow truck, but it was going to take 2 hours for me to get out of there. Guy picked me up was super friendly I hope I don't have to use them again but I gladly would.

The money-sucking company towed away my car on Saturday at 9 pm and I retrieved it on Sunday at 9 am. Despite not having my car for 48 hours, they charged me for 3 days of storage fees. Additionally, they damaged my car. Furthermore, their charges were excessive. Despite explaining that I am a low-income individual and a student, making it difficult for me to afford such a hefty amount, they showed no consideration.

Hands down some of the best service I've had! Had been sitting in a parking lot with a dead car for a few hours, just ready for a tow truck to come take my car to the dealer. Midwest Tow came and the two men who came were amazing. They first checked everything under the hood to make sure they found the exact problem. Tested the battery and alternator. Found out I just needed a new battery. They then suggested to go to auto zone and buy a new battery there and have them swap it instead of going to the dealer, waiting a few days to be seen, and then getting it fixed. So the gentlemen drove over to auto zone with my car, and me following behind. Then they went inside with me and made sure I got the correct battery and was all set to go. They helped me through every process, and helped me save a ton of money! They truly have amazing customer service!!!

Good response to call and on time company. Tower arrived and proceeded to back out my car and swiped my mirror off and completely destroyed it. It is a manual car and he claimed to be pressing the clutch instead of the break, which makes 0 sense because if you use your left foot to break, you shouldn't be allowed to drive, and if your right foot went all the way over to the clutch you again should not have a license. The whole experience felt rushed and made my life harder, now I am faced with this inconvenience and they still charged me for the tow, and they want to save themselves money by fixing it themselves. Would NOT recommend if you are looking for a morally induced company that knows when to do the right thing.

I had a very bad experience with the guy of this company whom I called to tow my vehicle at Lincoln, NE after an accident. When I called them the lady on the phone ensured me that the total cost will be $80.44. She took all the details e.g. accident location, destination, car type, accident type before providing this amount.However, after arriving, the towing guy informed me that I have to pay ~$128 instead of $80.44. When I asked the reason he explained that the car is on top of the grass and therefore he needs extra effort to tow it. I was super surprised. It seemed like my car is on top of the "Willis Tower" and therefore he needs extra effort to take it inside the towing truck!Then I pushed the car from there to the parking lot with the help of my friend and the guy was sitting inside his car and looked at our efforts stolidly. After I placed it in the parking he towed it with his truck. I have no idea how he asked 50+% extra for the service that we did by just a small push of a couple of yards! Is this a joke? The towing guy also was not efficient enough to place my car properly in my parking lot. I had to push one more time with him to place it at the proper spot. I think companies like Midwest Towing & Recovery are out of all credibilities. People call them when they are in an emergency and their personals try to get as much as possible from the customer due to the helplessness. Hope the authority will monitor these issues.

The guys that came out to tow my car were #1 on time,#2 very professional and polite, #3 careful with my car as to not damage it.The air shocks were deflated and Dalton made sure that my car did not drag or scrape in the front or back when putting it on the flatbed. I will call them every time I need a tow in Lincoln.
