On Saturday afternoon I ran some errands, pulled into the garage and was unloading my trunk when there was a loud noise and the garage door came whizzing down at lightning speed just inches behind me. All the neighbors came out to find out what happened. Scary!!! My spouse called Midtown Doors first thing Monday morning and by Tuesday they were out to fix it with a new spring and a few other parts. Price was reasonable compared to getting a whole new unit. It's probably a wise idea to have your garage door serviced every couple years to avoid a scary incident like that or even injury (or worse!!). We are very thankful for this business and will continue to call on them when needed.

Another score for Yelp*!!!Garage door broke over the weekend (broken spring) and needed it fixed. After calling the last company we used and getting a ridiculously expensive estimate, I went and looked at yelp and got this company. Spoke to Dan and he gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable to what I was expecting.I scheduled an appointment and he got me back in business in no time. I really liked how he interacted; it felt more like just a casual chitchat with an old buddy just shootin' the breeze while he's fixing my garage door. Highly recommend!

Our garage door kept popping up after going down so I searched Yelp for a good repair service and Midtown was appealing due to the solid rating. I called in the afternoon on a Wednesday and they were here Thursday AM right on time. After a few adjustments our garage door was fixed for the very reasonable price of $70. For the price and quick turnaround time, I don't think you can go wrong with Midtown Doors & Services.

From the moment I called to Inquire about a new garage door installation to the completion of the installation process our experience was phenomenal! Dan was awesome to deal with. Super responsive, personable, and very helpful. Their pricing is competitive and the installer was awesome! We had a minor issue with the seal on the bottom and I texted Dan and he came out and installed a larger one in 5 minutes. I will never go anywhere else for garage door needs.

This is an easy one, folks.First, Dan is GREAT. Super friendly, very genuine -- felt like I knew him my whole life just in talking to him. Straight shooter, easy-going, and he does quality work.I called Midtown on Friday after my garage door shot off the track, the cable on one side coming unspooled from the pulley. The only way I could get the garage door to shut was by pulling the other cable and, thus, undoing all the tension in the spring.Dan booked me for the following Tuesday, and he showed up promptly at 8:30 am. The work was done in about an hour, and he let me throw in having the weather stripping at the bottom of the door replaced too.Total cost? $70 for labor + $20 for the weather stripping = 90 incredibly reasonable dollars.Dan also dressed some of the garage door opener cables, dialed in the tension on the door, and straightened out one of the tracks that had gotten bent/angled pretty good after I put the door back together.Dan also does installations, and he can accept credit cards right on his smartphone. He even emailed me a receipt (boo to paper).If you've got garage door issues or need a new one installed, call Midtown. Do it!

I would give zero stars if that were an option. I am a pretty patient person, however after having to call this company a third time to fix what was not fixed on the first trip, or the second, my patience is gone. I would not be nearly as upset if the guy wouldn't have treated me like crap for insisting he come back the day I called instead of waiting two more days (for the third trip). He acted like I was inconveniencing him, while I was being totally inconvenienced myself, because my garage door won't open. As the customer, he should be trying to make it right without making me feel like dirt for wanting it fixed. I don't even know if the thing they fixed the first time was the actual problem. Said it was the spring, now saying it's the opener and they'd be happy to sell me a new opener! I would have probably let him sell me the new opener if he wasn't such a jerk about it. I'm out $250 to this guy and he could care less if I have to keep taking time out of my day to have them back three times. ***update-garage door has now completely quit working. Can't get car out.

I had damage on my nearly 20 year old garage door. Part was wear and tear, the other was when my foot slipped off the brake and I rolled into it! But I digress.Called around and came across these guys. Spoke with Dan who was very polite and friendly. He came by the house within a day or two of our phone conversation and properly assessed the condition of the door. A week and a half later 2 of his crew came and replaced the 4 slats (panels) on the front and back of the door, fixed the weather stripping, and programmed my new remote all inside of an hour!Now I would've loved to give 4.5 stars ... even 5 ... but they only get 4 because I had to follow up with Dan after he was supposed to follow up with me. His guys were also 30 minutes late. Beyond that, I would use them again, and I'll definitely recommend them!

Excellent work! Thank you so much for taking care of your customer without hesitation in such cold weather. We tried a different company before we get to Midtown Doors. The other company completely damaged our garage door. It was only a broken spring, but the other company came and took all the parts off the garage and cut all the cables and want us to buy a complete system. I am glad I called Midtown to come to look at it. He fixed everything at a very reasonable price.
