Mid-City OB-GYN

I've been a patient here for three or maybe four years now. They have some excellent doctors. One of the things I appreciate most about this place is that they respect my time. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for an appointment. I only have two criticisms: late afternoon appointments can be hard to come by, and I usually have to book them months in advance. The other is that they can be very slow with medication refills. I'm not too fond of calling them and lighting a fire to get them to do refills promptly.

Came here with my wife for our pregnancy appointment. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Kropp is also a very nice person to have watching over the pregnancy.We are very happy to have found this office!

​Just went in for IUD removal and had some questions about fertility. Went to location on 162nd and dodge. NP, Bridgette Haney, was wonderful, spent time getting a to know me and answering all my questions. Waited just a couple minutes in waiting room and a couple minutes in exam room. And scheduler got me in for appt within a week.

Best in Omaha! I've been a patient for over 20yrs. Moved away for a while and recently moved back. As soon as I could switch insurance from my sub-par company I did. So glad to be back. I will never switch again. Their doctors and staff are amazing!

Dr. Vora was phenomenal. She made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns and provided care quickly and efficiently. Her nurse was very attentive and kind as well. The receptionist that checked me in was friendly and provided great customer service. As a new patient, I expected a much longer wait time with lots of paper work. My entire appointment was completed in less than 45 minutes and after filling out my patient portal online (prior to the appointment) I had absolutely 0 paperwork to complete upon my arrival to the office. I am so impressed with this practice and definitely recommend it.

I've been a patient for about a year and a half now. I just tried coming in today for female complications that include and low grade fever/rash. Even though its not Covid, I'm not allowed in the office because I have a low grade fever. My labs can be sent elsewhere for me to be around others and "infect" them, but I'm not allowed at Mid-City. They don't have any other plans in place for patients, but go elsewhere. I love my doctor at Mid-City, but the policies here are ridiculous. I will be finding somewhere else to go! This is why I have established care, so I wouldn't have to scramble to find places that will take my insurance.

My first appointment was great. Staff are so welcoming and nice. I was nervous going to my appointment but they all made me feel comfortable and I knew I was well taken care of! I would definitely recommend.

Beware mothers who struggle with getting pregnant!!!!!! I came in this past week to see Dr Hunt for some light bleeding. I was a new patient and she asked me nothing about my history and wasn't interested to hear any of my concerns. I had elevated hcg levels but was still very early, and I didn't want to get my hopes up because I have a history with miscarriages. She confirmed pregnancy and dismissed all of my questions saying "no you're totally pregnant, stop worrying you're for sure pregnant, congratulations" They brought me a gift basket full of baby things and I left feeling hopeful because, Dr. Know best! But she didn't call the next day to tell me that my hcg levels were plummeting, and when I came in a few days later for more bloodwork and my levels had fallen even more, there was still no phone call to let me know. And when i spent the weekend miscarrying and left multiple messages with her she never got back with me. And here I am 5 days after my miscarriage and she never returned any calls or reached out to check on me when she knew my pregnancy wasn't viable to begin with. I've never felt more ABANDONED by a doctor in my life, and it makes me physically sick to think about how she could have warned me, or simply checked in on me or SOMETHING. Also i was highly offended by some of her comments. When my pregnancy tests came back positive the first thing she asked me is if this was "a wanted pregnancy" and if i would like to keep the baby. And that we "still have rights In Nebraska". She didn't know me, she didn't know we had been trying for a baby for a year now, and that I've had a few miscarriages this year already, she didn't ask. I'm so terribly disappointed, defeated and honestly hurt by the lack of empathy and compassion. Do not see this Dr.

Dr. Hedrick is the best. She takes her time with you and you never feel like she's in a rush to get to her next patient. She does a great job explaining your options and helping you decide what is right for your health needs. Office staff are always friendly. Would recommend this office and doctor any day.
