Great family fun at Martin's.Warning -- the last two miles on Ashland Road from Highway 77 are a washboard dirt road. Dusty and rumbly.$6 admission reasonable when compared to their big-city counterpart. Apples were yummy. Hayride, tire swings, feats of strength, pumpkins galore. Kids stayed interested. Friendly staff. We were a few days after a frost so the flowers were gone, alas. Hope to make this a yearly adventure.

I took my family here yesterday and while I'd say it's a great value, that comes with the significant caveat of "if you don't care about your health and safety and that of your loved ones."Staff were wearing masks but absolutely never enforcing mask-wearing for visitors. I had to say no to my toddler who wanted to play on everything because no other families were wearing masks- we only saw one other masked group the whole time we were there. And besides not wearing masks, no one seemed to believe in personal space either. So they playground, the tire hill, the eating area, the trikes, and the hay ride were all completely inaccessible due to a lack of care for health and safety.I saw people putting them on just briefly to go check in, to go in the cafe, and to check out, but that's absolutely it.We were able to do the corn maze, the butterfly garden, the orchard, and the pumpkin patch, but it was hit-or-miss, no one was polite enough to give a safe distance while they walked around maskless. As far as the quality of the stuff we were able to experience- the corn maze was perfect for kids, the butterfly garden was gorgeous even this late in the season, and the orchard was a nice peaceful walk. The pumpkin patch, however, was a disappointment- I inspected at least 50 pumpkins and only found three that weren't broken open and cracked. It's only $5 per person and that gets you $2 off your purchase at the end so maybe we'll come back another time if/when it's safe but for now they've earned my 2 star rating for not being firmer about trying to save lives.

This is such a lovely, quaint orchard. We picked apples, peaches, and berries two weeks ago and loved it. The prices are reasonable and the grounds are sweet. I only wish they served picnic lunches.

A great orchard just north of Lincoln run by exceptional friendly people. I've gone here for years and absolutely love their apple cider. I've tried ciders from other regional orchards, but Martin's has long been a favorite. Keep a sharp eye on when apple varieties are ready to be picked and try them all!

We love this place! Perfect for a young family! There is a little bit of everything for young kids and the apples are fantastic. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the thing we love most is that it's not ever unbelievably crowded and stressful like some of the bigger name orchards. This is the best kept secret around Lincoln!!!

I have been coming here since I was a kid and plan to go this Friday I always remember having a blast and every fall i would come out to pick apples and pumpkins and climb the tire mountain! They also have the best Carmel Apples! I saw another review on here that said something about them not enforcing masks and I'm on the orchards side with that one since it's outdoors and outside of lincoln where there's no mask mandate! I plan to take my nephews here!!!

Last Sunday of August. First day of opening for season, Let us start with the 4$ per person to enter. Oh but you get it back on the produce you pick! Raspberries? Lots of rows and 99% green, not ripe. Let us move on to apples. Only Gala are ripe. Where are they? Map given shows row numbers but none of the rows are numbered nor are they identified by type of apple so we guessed. Picked 8 " gala" apples or hoped they were gala. So...8$ for 8 apples. Guess we could have picked more. The weeds were very abundant, especially in all the raspberry rows and in the flower garden. Would have thought greater care would have been given and the place weeded a bit. Oh well, there is always Nebraska City and Arbor Lodge. Not going back.

Since moving to Nebraska we've been looking for a great Orchard that isn't commercial and full of trinkets. This is it. If you enjoy Vallas you may not like it here.

This is a "sincere pumpkin patch" as Linus would say. Lots for families to do and as noncommercial as possible. My grandchildren loved it.
