Martinez Bakery

I have been following this place on Facebook for a while and finally had a chance to stop into the Missouri Valley location. The pictures of everything online look amazing, but I was disappointed on my recent (and first) visit. I purchased a variety of items and almost everything I purchased was stale and tasted old. The stuffed bread with taco meat, cheese and jalapeño peppers was good, but it wasn't refrigerated when purchased and I had no idea there was meat inside until I got home quite a bit later. I only took a bite to taste it, but wasn't sure about eating more since it hadn't been refrigerated.If I'm in the area, I might try this place again, but I wouldn't make a special trip.
