Another great crop of pumpkins that didn't break the bank! We got a patio full of pumpkins for less than$30 and that was on a normal day, it was really fun for the kids to play around. I'm lucky I live on this side of town because it's really inexpensive fall fun. They are making little improvements as well! The whole staff is friendly and they have "the eye" check out system that really seems to work for us lol!

I was introduced to Markman Pumpkin Patch a few years ago, and I absolutely don't want to go anywhere else for my pumpkins and gourds now. The prices are unbeatable and the selection is always good. I also love getting to push my wheelbarrow around and choose what I like. It feels like a little adventure every time! Be sure to go earlier in the season, people know and love this place so they will run out of pumpkins! Be sure to bring cash or checks- they do not accept credit cards.

Quaint, family-owned farm that has a pumpkin patch every year. There's the standard gravel road and on grass/dirt parking. We only get pumpkins here, but I believe you can get corn stalks, bales of hay, and firewood throughout the season. This is by no means the only pumpkin patch you would need or even want to go to for the season, especially if you have kids. This, however, is a great first stop for the season as their prices are ridiculously low, you have the option to pick your own pumpkins, they allow dogs, and there is no cost to get in. This is our third or fourth year going to this pumpkin patch. This year we got three good sized pumpkins to decorate the front porch and over a dozen small baby pumpkins/gourds for the dogs to chew on for a grand total of $2. Definitely worth your time, but can get very busy on the weekends.
