Such a good time! Went here for a boys birthday and they all had so much fun! We'd never been paintballing and it was awesome! The staff was kind and very safety conscious! The kids watched a safety video and were called out a couple times for not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly. I used a Groupon to help offset the cost and the total was under $300 for 8 kids for 3 hours. They use smaller sized paintballs for the kids and the paint washed out no problem. I'd still wear old clothes that you don't care about getting dirty. Though the balls are smaller, they still hurt when you get hit with them so wearing pants and long sleeves help the impact. Make sure your kids are tough enough to endure the pain or you will be out the cost of them playing. There are several kinds of ways you can play and they have various types of courses to keep it interesting. I'd suggest bringing some water and or a snack as 3 hours is a long time.

This was my first time at this field. The staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable for paint and rentals. They have multiple courses both woodsball and speedball. They do offer compressed air and CO2. They do sell paintball markers and accessories.

A group of 5 of us went on a Saturday afternoon. None of us had been paintballing before and we had no idea what we were doing. For about $40 you can get everything you need - the paintball gun, a limitless supply of CO2, a mask, and a ton of paintballs. After you get all your gear, you sit in some van seats arranged in front of a TV to watch a video that goes over the rules and how to stay safe. You are assigned a referee to stay with you while you play and our referee, Keith, was amazing! He showed us how to load our guns, got us different masks that would fit over our sunglasses, answered all of our questions, and told us tons of tips about how to load our guns and where to position everything. There are several play fields that have a bunch of obstacles to hide behind. There is also a forrest across the street which is huge and a ton of fun! We played a few games in one of the fields before moving across the street to play in the forrest. There were several other groups there that obviously played regularly and took the game pretty seriously. We were placed with one of these groups for a few of our games and they were super welcoming and friendly, even though we didn't know what we were doing and they were clearly much more skilled than we were. They didn't make us feel unwelcome or seem annoyed by our lack of experience. The refs are laid back - they mostly monitor the games, answer questions, and only interfere if there is a safety issue (the two big ones are making sure you always keep your mask on when you are on a field and put the safety and cover on your gun when you leave the field). We played consistently for 2 hours and didn't go through even half of our paintballs. You can play until your paintballs are gone, so if you wanted to you could easily make an entire day of this (we had some cocktails waiting for us so we were ready to call it after a couple hours). Reservations are not required, but they are recommended, especially for larger groups. You don't need a large group to go, though. You can go by yourself or with another person, and you can either play against each other or with another group that is there - everyone we played with was super welcoming and friendly, so don't worry about playing with other teams there.I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and covering as much skin as you comfortably can. It can hurt a little when you are hit, but it isn't that bad. We had welts of varying size and severity, most of which were gone by the next day. This is a great experience if you are looking to try something new!

Don't be scared! Many of us were and it was so much fun - came w some coworkers and family~5 girls, 5 guys. It can hurt a little but not really - just cover up! The more skin covered, (and layers) the better for protection. Most of my hits I didn't even feel. The forest is my personal favorite. The other courses are smaller and better for fast paced play/multiple rounds. Hat/Cap recommended for head coverage. We'll definitely be returning!

Do not spend your money at Mad Cow Paintball in Louisville NE. Beware the psychotic reservation lady on the other end of the phone. Got upset about us asking for a refund 3 days before our reservation and hung-up on us. Then proceeded to ignore the calls. She didn't sound young but sure acted childish. Shame to see a small business hurt by such a poor employee and policy. If COVID didn't close you down, this poor service sure will.

Loved it! They have great service, they know what they're doing and have rules so that you don't get hurt as long as you follow them. Plus it's a great form of exercise. The fields are great and they're spectators are awesome people. They really deserve more popularity, being as they are the only close paintball place near Omaha.
