My fiance proposed with his grandma's 60-year-old engagement. We took it to Lynch's to get it sized and evaluated for our insurance policy. Service was quick (about a week and a half) and thorough. The ring looks beautiful and the sizing was perfect. The technician gave us a wonderful overview of the ring's status and offered advice on some future work to the prongs. The store's selection is limited, but the services are great for pre-owned pieces.

This is just based on how they were on the phone, I had called to see if they could take a couple of links out of my watch and how much it would cost. When they answered, they were rather rude and acted if my call was an inconvenience to them. I was going to give them my business no matter how much it would've cost me but if they are that rude over the phone I'll gladly take my business to a jeweler who treats a potential customer with respect and doesn't act rude on the phone. Customer service over the phone can tell you a lot about how a business will treat you when you are right in front of them. I guess Lynch jewelers doesn't want any business from me even if after the watch I was going to shop for a ring for my girlfriend. Oh well, plenty of better places with exceptional customer service here in town.
